Swimming > Lifting
unless you know what you are doing in lifting and are able to crank out the most gruesome sets. |

You can't really compare lifting and swimming though.
Swimming is cardio and building muscle at the same time throughout the entire body.
Lifting is isolating certain parts of the body and building muscle. |

| Lifting can target most of the body not only that you dont think theres any cardio in doing a lot of reps in lifting? |

If you're going to count that as cardio, then you might as well say that moving furniture is cardio or that doing push-ups is cardio. It really isn't. Sure it gets your heart beating, but that's not what cardio is. Cardio is keeping your heart rate really high and staying there.
Lifting may get your heart rate up, but it jumps up and down compared to what you do. Each individual lift targets certain muscles and you work on those. |

Deadlift neck legs back chest Squat thigh calves butt back
Push ups are cardio if you can do at least 75 or more without stopping
Obviously swimming has more cardio but weightlifting also has cardio
