It came to my attention that the old guide/reform thread was a little outdated. So I have decided to redo it, just to make it easier to see the systems we use within VS.
Note: Lilly made all of this, I am only editing it to make it correct due to new ranks.

1. Promotion System
Introduction - CP and IP. Combat Points and Intelligence Points. This is theoretically a revamped version of the AP/CP system from 2012. CP will be awarded at training places, defenses, raids, etcetera for excelling in combat. IP will be awarded at training places, defenses, raids, etcetera as well, but for showing maturity, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team.
Note - Anyone currently in these ranks will be given the corresponding amount of CP and IP necessary to have obtained that rank:
--LR-- Recruit - automatic Private - 3 CP, 3 IP Private First Class- 5 CP, 5 IP Specialist- 8 CP, 8 IP Corporal- 15 CP, 13 IP Sergeant- 20 CP, 18 IP Sergeant Major- 30 CP, 25 IP Lieutenant- 40 CP, 35 IP Captain - 50 CP, 50 IP --HR-- Colonel- chosen by an Advisor Advisor- hand selected by Lilly Benevolent Leader- handed down by Lilly
Addition of CP - Highranks are expected to be generous with CP, as in giving it out more than they did with AP. CP is rewarded for combat skill. The maximum amount of CP that can be added by a highrank for one player at any time is 5 per event. This means that if I wanted to award CP to RyanRules4 for doing well in combat, I would give him 5 CP maximum.
Subtraction of CP - CP may be taken away at the discretion of highranks for offenses such as being disobedient at training, going AFK during raids (without prior notice), opening gates for raiders at Vulcan, etcetera; anything that can impede combat of Vortex Security can cause the subtraction of CP from the player in question. Only 5 CP maximum may be taken away from someone per offense.
Addition of IP - IP may be awarded for showing maturity, leadership skills, and teamworking abilities at raids, defenses, and trainings. There is a 5 IP maximum per event per user, just like with CP. For example: If I awarded effward 5 IP for showing excellent leadership skills while defending Vulcan, I could not give him 5 more IP for that same event. If he later went to a training I was hosting, I could give him up to 5 more IP for being mature there.
Subtraction of IP - Similarly to CP, IP may be taken away for immaturity, insubordination (disobeying orders), disrespect, etc. IP subtraction also has a maximum of 5. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■
