...instead of using ServerStorage you insist on using Lighting. On every single project. Without exception. You just can't help it-you've used it so long, you naturally do it.

You can correct that. It's not that hard. :/
You're not scripting "old-school" really. You're scripting with bad practice. There's a difference.
Lighting was never actually intended to be used for that purpose, but it was possibly the single most useful hack ever on Roblox.
It's like saying I'm "scripting old-school" if I use Remove(). |

Actually, if you weren't allowed to put things in lighting people probably would of done this
Instance.new("Model", game).Name = "Storage" |

Instance.new("Model", game).Name = "Storage"
Also would have been server side only, thats why I used it instead of lighting even before the official places for it |

I didn't know it already existed.
Apparently before ReplicatedStorage and all that other stuff there was Lighting. I guess I like to use that more.
The problem with making a "Storage" model in Workspace is that it has to render the parts in the workspace, whilst in Lighting it only renders them if they are moved to the workspace. |

There is no reason to like Lighting more you are just refusing to change to something better for no reason
Its like if you have 2 computers
1 is lighting 2 is ServerStorage/Replicated
1 has 0.5 gb of ram and 27 gb storage
2 has 4 gb of ram and 500 gb of storage
And you pick to use the first one
(I actually have 2 laptops like that. You can guess which one never gets used.) |

Put this in your script.
local Previous = getfenv() setfenv(1, setmetatable({game = setmetatable({Lighting = "Fail"}, {__index = Previous.game})}, {__index = Previous})
I probably messed up, but whatever. I can always correct it. I hope it helps. :) |

I know but the second one is usable
I want to build my own computer but I don't have the money
(Also both of those are laptops actually not computers, I do have a computer with 256 storage and 1.5 ram) |

You mean 4 Gb? There is a difference between Gb and gb.
And technically, laptops are computers. So are calculators. So is the analytic engine. |

Whats the difference in Gb and GB?
Well it says GB anyway so even if I'm wrong the display lied to me and since I don't know what a 'GB' is (Unless maybe a 'GB' is 'Gigabyte' and I don't know what 'Gb' is)
And finnnneeeeee a desktop computer and 2 laptops >.> you have to be so specific about everything or someone tells you everything you said is wrong |

GB is gigabyte Gb is gigabit (8 gigabit = gigabyte)
But not sure about this gB gb, I assumed the "g" capitalization didn't matter. |

If gb doesn't mean anything why did you say 4 gb is 0.5 Gigabytes
And how was I wrong the second time when I corrected it to GB |

| Stop comparing Gb (pronounced "G flat") with gigabytes. They belong in two totally different realms. :P |
