{ EVENTS } SHORT DISTANCE: 55m 100m 200m 400m
MIDDLE DISTANCE: 600m 800m
LONG DISTANCE: 1500m 3000m
RELAY: 2x400 2x800
HURDLES: 110m 400m
THROWING: Discus Javelin
JUMPING: Pole Vaulting High Jump Triple Jump
POINT RULES: 1st = 5 2nd = 4 3rd = 2 4th = 1
GENERAL RULES: - Diving in races IS prohibited, no warning, just elimination - Jumping in races IS prohibited, no warning, just elimination - In any race where you can go to the inside lane, BLOCKING is prohibited, no warning, just elimination. - A meet will not be official if all of these events do not happen, prepare for a meet to be a hour to an half and a half long - All races WILL have video to ensure the race standings are correct
SHORT DISTANCE: - All racers must stay in there lanes, it is designed that all distance is equal, even if you start further back - Leaving your lane will eliminate you
MIDDLE DISTANCE/LONG DISTANCE: - You may go to the inside lane for these races, but must start in a designated lane. - If your foot goes off the track, and its not intentional, I'll warn you then eliminate you. I can eliminate without warn however. - Attempts to block are illegal
RELAYS: - For relays, YOU do not need another person to do it with, you just won't have the advantage - For 400, everyone must stay in there lane, for 800, you may go to the inside lane, but must retreat back to your lane to hand the baton to your partner, distances will be equal. After your distance YOU BACKSPACE THE BATON TO YOUR PARTNER. - Leaving your lane eliminates your team - If your baton leaves the track you may leave the track to get it but cannot advance forwards off the track
---- POLE VAULTING: - The first round eliminates anyone who does not go over 3 TIMES - If everyone was successful in going over ONCE, then the 2nd round eliminates the worst score - If there is a tie there is a tiebreaker, which is just each doing 1 jump until someone misses - Each round the pole moves up
HIGH JUMP: - Everyone will be setgraved to -75 for this event - Your job is to time your jump as close to the sand as possible, without touching it and getting 1 stud - When you're in the air your job is to time your dive [lowercase e] to get as furthest a distance as possible, this will be recorded so I can see the first touch - The sand is marked in a way I can see the scores - Worst score eliminated each round
TRIPLE JUMP: - Everyone will be setgraved to -75 for this event - Your job is to make 2 jumps before you make a jump for the longest distance, timing your first jump so you dont jump way early or late - You must keep moving FWD while making your two initial jumps, or you get a 0
--- DISCUS: - You must spin around at least ONCE then throw it right after your spin or its no good, this it to make it harder. You can throw while spinning. - The discus is a frisbee with an OFL ball charge, your job is to throw it far as possible without throwing it out of bounds, or your score is 0. The score is based upon the first touch, not the bounce - 3 throws for each team per round, worst eliminated - The field will be marked for scores to be taken - Scores will be marked after each round to save time - Must throw from white brick
JAVELIN: - If you aim to high, it will get stuck and thats a redo - Must throw from white brick - Same rules apply as discus
MEETS RULES: - 6 meets a season [for teams] - 7th meet will be a championship meet [players invited] - The championship meet isn't for teams, its for indiviual. the teams championship will be decided by point standings after the 6th meet. - People invited to the championship meet are invited based on points earned for there team - Meets will be 1-2 times a week on weekend at late night.
EXPLOITING: - Any cheating, exploiting of any sort caught in a video will eliminate your team from that meet. |
