| No. Just don't say this around devout otaku fans. They'll castrate you. Either that or preform the "bloody eagle." |

"Is it bad to watch Sword Art Online with english dub?" Why would you even watch that? |

I watch both dubs and subs depending on what's available and which is better. I'm not an elitist and I have no idea why some people avoid dubs like the plague (most of those people are weebs) |

No, I watch dubbed too if they're available. It's risky saying that around weeaboos. |

I'll watch either, I do prefer Dubbed.
@drakeh
SAO > Chaos;Head
Watch Chaos;Head, and you'll understand why SAO is slightly better than Chaos;Head. |

Truth be told I utterly despise the "sub fanatics" who will go onto any video of a dubbed anime and scream about how "bad" dubs are and how they "ruin" anime (Unless it's cowboy bebop because everybody unanimously agreed bebop was better before sub fanatics could come and complain about it.
I've always operated under the mindset of "If the dub is better then the sub or is on par with the sub or is slightly below the sub" I'll watch dubbed. If it's awful (See the Higurashi dub) I just watch it subbed. |

mhm. If the dub and sub are of similar quality I'll watch it dubbed. I'm used to English vocal expressions and since I don't understand Japanese (they seem to turn their sentences backwards?), I can't tell which bit of a sentence emphasis is being put on and so I can't say Japanese voice acting sounds much better than monotone to me. |

i like dubs because i can understand the characters and be able to perceive the world they're in more effectively, as opposed to subs, which have my eyes glued at the bottom of the screen most of the time.
however dubs are usually risky because either: a.) they're really bad. literally the worst voice actors they could have ever hoped to find. b.) sound quality's horrendous, a lot of sound splices and pops, which drives me up the wall.
however finding a good english dub is always a treat. |
