Define a bad event, and NOT from your point of view just because you couldn't get the rewards meant for devs.

| Hey 13, stop defending the Devsplosion. There is a reasons why gifts are called gifts. This is the literal definition: "A thing given willingly to someone without payment; a present". The gifts aren't supposed to achievements that you are supposed to work for the entire year. They should be gifts. Hell, it's even in the title. Giftsplosion. But this year wasn't a Giftsplosion at all. Roblox literally made 90% of the gifts for devs, who are already rich enough. Most of the community didn't even get the gifts. These are not supposed to be sacred rewards, but gifts. |

@TheLegoGamerDude1: Who are you and why should I care if you respected me?
@TheFatYoMama: If stupid people are going to whine about it because the gifts weren't handed to them on a silver platter, I'm going to go against them and prove them wrong. Also, read this, and read Gordon's post on it: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=151761986

-Pay2win schemes -Lazy design -Only picks popular games instead of lesser know ones -Rushed -recycled ideas with original thought put into them
The only good thing to come out of these events are the hats even if they are just re-textures |

comparing anything to comcast is a pretty bad comparison. Nothing is as bad as comcast

@Hippie Just a guy from RP who was in a couple of your brothers RPs
But back to point You're being an idiot, and trying to defend something that can't be defended If you honestly try to sit here and convince me that the staff or roblox isn't sht, that gifts this year were fair, or that mods do their jobs I will legitimately laugh at your ignorance to what Roblox does

| But the majority of the community got nothing. The gifts were only rewarded to the popular devs, who had more than enough cash to buy the normal gifts, and rip off many other games (See GMod, Pokemon, Murder, etc). Giftsplosion is meant to be a fun time for the community by giving us gifts for playing the game. This year, the community was completely ignored, and all of the "gifts" were given to the devs, and then sold at completely ridiculous prices. Not everyone in the community can script in Lua, build a model, or create a game. But that doesn't mean that we should completely ignore them. They are the ones who play the game. Only the rich this year were rewarded, with no thought of the common man. This is the equivalent of a person giving really nice and fun Christmas presents to normal people and the poor, and then that person turning on them this year and giving presents to the rich. They then defend themselves saying that people should work for those gifts by becoming rich, when it's clear that most of them can't. They then sell them off at a price no one can buy, except for the other rich people. |

So, you think that I care if some random role-player doesn't respect me? lol, OK, sure.
Also, calling others idiots is personal attack. Don't be that guy, because it never ends well for them, as more often then not, they end up banned for it.
IF I was defending the event, I'd be saying how good it is, and how stupid everyone who complains are. I didn't.
1. ROBLOX has the right to make as many gifts as they wish for their developers, who actually contribute to ROBLOX.
2. Every gift is fair. The whole point of them is to WORK for them, not have them handed to you just for playing a game.
3. You want hats, ROBLOX released a bunch for just that, playing a game to get them. Get those instead.
And now, here is a quote from Gordonrox24. You know, one of ROBLOX's staff, who have the final say in the matter: "Every gift we've released has been obtainable, you've just got to work to obtain them. You're totally correct, we're trying to make being a dev as desirable as possible. Want a ton of perks? Make cool games."
If you would like to continue an argument that ultimately won't matter, since the giftsplosion is over and ROBLOX isn't going to pity those who complain, than argue with one of ROBLOX's staff.
