It's very imaginative and all that, but it feels like, at this point, they're just regurgitating past iterations in the hopes of gaining nostalgia-supporters. And of course, if they dared to try something new, they're receive a helluva lot of backlash from fans. Legend of Zelda fans, at that.
Nintendo is fundamentally stuck in a bog that they can't pull themselves out of, because the fans (the ones with the rope) are unwilling to pull them out, insisting they keep with the old charm and instead throw in some half-assed anime characters to liven up the bunch. The same goes for Pokemon, which I assume has a far larger fanbase, who are all content pressing the same buttons and doing the same things that they've been doing since the 90's. I just think there's a little bit of room for improvement. |

nah not the hyrule warriors the new loz game for wii u. i dont know much about what their aiming for with this game, but it looks like theyre going for the open-world non linear design that they took with the original nes game and a link to the past. as for whether nintendo should try change it up a bit i think its fine, im not really a pokemon or mario fan because the gameplay can feel a bit recycled at times, but they dont release new zelda titles like they do with their other franchises.
and its still a new game, even if the core gameplay mechanics are still the same. new temples to explore, new overworld to traverse, different quests and characters all that good stuff. its why i like nintendo, they keep it oldschool. |

if theres a sequel that isnt necessary they are milking it
a certain movie about rings has 3 movies cause they all tie in together (new trilogy as well)
loz is just using a popular character to make money none of the sequels/prequels really tie together theres a few here and there
doesnt mean they arent fun they just wont bother with a new universe cause money |
