I don't usually bother, but this year I though to myself about actually trying it out, but all the gifts have been either rewarding for developers or designers, or just had requirements that you had to have done before hand, and that most certainatly isn't fair for the average player

>Why the heck do you think that Gifts should be handed out will-nilly for everyone?
They aren't mandatory.
Also, ANYONE can meet any one of those requirements. If someone else did it, why can't you?
>Only 1 Gift has been for devs (the Delightful Gift). Anyone can sell Dev products. Anyone can run ads.
Stop complaining and man up. Learn to meet requirements. Get active. ROBLOX is not obligated to award everyone for doing nothing. If you want a Gift, get active and start creating things. Make use of everything ROBLOX has to offer.
It really is that simple.
The only reason anyone is complaining about Gifts is because they didn't get one. Envy =/= logic. |

@Han: You.... You are kinda dumb. No offence, but if you think anyone can become a 1Dev2, then you are.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NuONuafxwk
Ok, you tell us the 1 step solution to becoming FAMOUS! NOT EVERYONE CAN! Also, one of them required you to work at ROBLOX. Niiiiiice. |

@agodly
1dev2 is a normal person just like you. He worked at his game and made it popular. There is no reason you can't do that, either.
And no, one Gift did NOT require you to work at the HQ. It was awarded to over 500 individuals in the ROBLOX community who were invited to the ROBLOX Dev forum because of their valuable contributions to the community. Ok? That's perfectly fair. It's awarding the most helpful users, the power users, the ones that actually use all the aspects of the game.
My other arguments for you are in the other thread. Don't wallow in your misery. Get up and DO something if you want to get rewarded for it.
@Kyo That's IRL. ROBLOX Gifts have been for meeting requirements since they started. >You're also not OBLIGATED to give Gifts IRL. ROBLOX could just stop Gifts altogether. They don't HAVE to do them. They can choose to do with them what they want. |

Just because I don't HAVE to get them, doesn't stop me from complaining about it, I would have loved to earn the gifts but Roblox just wont let me

ROBLOX gives you ALL the tools you need to earn the Gifts. If one user can do it, you can too. The only thing stopping you is yourself.
Don't complain about something you can't control. You have just as much capability as any other user. Everyone started out by creating an account. If someone else can make it far enough to meet the Gift requirements, there's no reason you can't either.
Gotta head out now. Won't be able to reply for a while. |

@Kyo Then what good does your complaining do?
@Cool If 300 users can do it, there's no reason you can't be one of those 300 users. That's what I'm saying. Every user has the exact same ability to be in that group - it's what you do with it that gets you in there. That's what I'm saying. It all boils down to "why not you?"
@Ss If someone else can do it, you can too. It's that simple. |

Han that just proves how Roblox doesn't listen to the community, the forum mods sure as hell wont register complaints so we're just forced to accept what they do for us, Roblox is basically n-a-z-i g-e-r-m-a-n-y

@Han
"Why not you?" Well, because some people don't have time. You're basically encouraging us to leave every other significant thing in our lives to start being active 24/7 on ROBLOX, using the tools ROBLOX "offers" us, just to get some gifts. Yes, you're not obligated to do that, but some people want to actually enjoy games. Some people want enjoyable gifts, not gifts that require spending so much time on ROBLOX. Maybe money too?
Well, as sure as heck this is my opinion, and I'm not forcing it upon anybody. Everybody is entitled to an opinion. |

@han its not exactly that simple to have your ad shown over 1 million times on the site its not easy to drive long distances to attend a roblox maker faire event
I have done nothing but teleport bread for 3 days. |

@Kyo What I said was reduction ad absurdum. I was showing you the logical conclusion of your argument. I wasn't saying what you said is true.
ROBLOX DOES listen. The vast majority of what they do is in response to user feedback. In the past few years they've gone above and beyond on reaching out more to the community to get input and feedback.
Read your history books before you make some grossly inappropriate and offensive retort like that. You should be ashamed of that.
@Wary Read my posts here: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=151495400&PageIndex=2#151498684
You don't have to spend 24/7 on ROBLOX. I'm in college and I've spent maybe 30 hours on ROBLOX since September. I still have all the Gifts so far this year (I had to buy Impressionable, Sharp, Friends and Followers, and Cool Gifts). What you said is like saying that people who don't even play ROBLOX should get Gifts. No. You don't understand the point. The Gifts are awarded for being active around the site and in the game. So expect to have to invest time to get Gifts.
Your argument about enjoyable Gifts that don't require much time is answered in the posts I linked you to. |

@youtube If you spend around 100,000 Tix on ads you can easily get 1m+ impressions. I could argue that the Gift was unfair because it cost less to purchase it than it did to purchase the ads.
There were 23 maker faires around the country and around the WORLD this year. I can guarantee you that there was probably one within a reasonable distance for you to travel to. But even if it was just a Bloxfaire in CA (which there was a Gift for one year), so what? It's perfectly reasonable for them to award a Gift for users who attended.
