I can agree with most of your statements explaining that some of this year's gifts were quite challenging. Some required BC, while others required being a developer, and the other gifts were extremely difficult.
However, ROBLOX stated that each gift would be available to every member of the community. I have seen threads that say "Not everyone can get gifts" and "Gifts were unfair", when in reality, every one of us had a fair chance to earn each gift. The developers just had a head start.
I am aware that ROBLOX made a gift involving becoming part of the Developer Forums. The Developer Forums was a new feature that was exclusive to developers (obviously). People had the chance to get it; it was not impossible to become part of the developer forums.
While some gifts involved being a developer, others involved different things which the community still categorized as exclusive to developers. This is not true. For example, the "Friends and Followers" gift was awarded to those who had at least 8,014 friends. To many users, a challenging task--but not impossible.
When you think about it, ROBLOX isn't excluding the gift to 8,014 members, because they are allowing you a chance to earn it, too. Other gifts that featured having a great number of something also were possible to get. Always remember that challenging doesn't always mean impossible. |

| But you can agree the dev bias this year was pushing it a little though, right? |

@The, I agree with you 100% that ROBLOX revolved around the developers a little more this year, though barely changing the possibility of earning.
When you think of it in ROBLOX's perspective, all they are doing is trying to encourage ROBLOXians to become successful developers, which is a possible task when work is put into it (Example: Advertising)

"Gifts would be available to every member of the community" So if I beat a guy in a top 100 list and I get the gift but then the guy who had the 100th place won't get it. So basically it wouldn't had been possible for 'everyone' to get the gifts. |

| @Clear yeah, I can see their PoV with trying to encourage more players to try their hand at developing, but this dev bias this year might affect how people look at developers and that could affect who might try to become one. |
