So there's an EL OiT trying to get HR. He literally begged me for like 3 days via PM about how he deserved it and was begging and all that crap.
So y'know he's not the most intelligent or experienced.
So anyways I didn't want him as HR because I didn't see him as fit and all that but it pissed off some other HR because "he worked so hard for it"
Am I being unreasonable by denying him or nah?

You're not being unreasonable.
It is your decision, not the other HR. If you firmly believe that he will not benefit the clan at that position then it's reasonable.
Especially if he begs for the rank.
The other HR could be in the scheme too. |

are, you haven't been around recently so imma tell you nicely. EL isn't the same lol. Also, he's a MR and he has to get a HR to pass his UO which is like an evaluation so he was trying to convince me.

Even if "he worked hard for it" he needs to face the truth; if he isn't suited for the rank then there's no need to beg/argue for it.

noel, been at a soccer tournament. Just got back.
ariff, that's like exactly how I saw it but I guess EL is just more of that traditional "hard work>ability" type of clan.

No, it's like a training program (that's really bad and being reformed) but they essentially get trained by some HR then undergo 3 "UOs" which is basically just them hosting a training and the HR that is overseeing judges them. If they're good enough they pass.

You were the overseer for him then I assume?
Then obviously it's your decision. |

No, I wasn't. I did see part of it being held though. He just wasn't fit for the position. At least by my terms. So I put in my input a bit and it set off this brand new HR who went on about how he deserved it because he tried soo hard.

| If he is begging for a HR spot dont let him in. If he sent so many messages you cant even count them just block him. |

Hopefully the overseer of his training considers your input a bit then.
Failing to provide a successful training to your fellow members but because "you tried" and it suddenly makes it ok?
Er, no. |

Ight thanks for your input guys. I'm really harsh I guess but I'm just trying to make sure I'm not being blatantly unreasonable.
