remove() is Parent = nil on the object its called on and all children
destroy() is Parent = nil; Parent locked on the object its called on and all children
doesnt really make a difference

| :Destroy() also sets the instance to nil, and helps clean up a lot better. |

Every single time someone posts their life story, it's the same. "I'm 16 years old, super attractive, I work out, I have a super hot girlfriend"
I mean really? You hear that 50 year old stalkers say that online |

'I'm 16 years old, super attractive, I work out, I have a super hot girlfriend' I didn't say I was super attractive (I am not), I didn't say I would work out (I don't), I didn't say my girlfriend was super hot (shes normal). |

| With remove, you can get the object back if you insert it, but destroy removes it forever, I think. |

| Because if all the childrens' parents are going to be nil, then just call Destroy since you won't be able to recover things with stuff in it. |

They have no difference in functionality at all, though the word "remove" is shorter than "destroy"...
I still don't understand why people don't capitalize the remove method, like they do with destroy... |

They do have a difference. Destroy will destroy the object no matter if you have a reference or not. Also it disconnects any events IIRC. |

:Destroy() does the following: Disconnects all associated events Calls :Destroy() on all members of the Instance Destroys the Instance. Completely. It sets the pointer to nil on the C side so that nothing knows where it is in memory anymore, and then it gets gc'd and its memory adresses are freed |
