Has anyone ever drunk the crescent water of the night? Don't. You'll insist everyone else tries it if you do and you'll be enthralled to the Daily Nightly foreverrr. Muahahahaha! So, recently I've noticed that people tend to miss the Daily Nightly even though I do it every day at around the same time. Do I need to do it earlier for people? Questions for today (Because despite still being miserable, I did try and get you some questions this time):
What is the most frequently asked question you've seen on here?
Ever used web IDEs? If so, which one?
If we did band together into a development team (Which I still think we should totally do because you guys are awesome like that), what would be our first project?
Have you ever accepted to be hired for the scripting half of a game?
Do you guys have any questions you think I should totally answer? (I'm really sorry I just needed to make it 5 questions)
As always, stuff stuff and stuff. Mm yep I give up Horray to all the depressed comedians, blind artists, dyslexic writers, deaf musicians and disabled athletes. May irony never best us. |

What is the most frequently asked question you've seen on here? Vague questions with no previous knowledge of scripting shown, eg. how do i make murder game t Ever used web IDEs? If so, which one? Nope
If we did band together into a development team (Which I still think we should totally do because you guys are awesome like that), what would be our first project? I would love to see a proper MMO style RPG, involving PVP battlefronts, 4 Player Dungeons and open world pvp between factions.
Have you ever accepted to be hired for the scripting half of a game? Yeah, on a game called Pacifico, my scripting was pretty eh back then.
Do you guys have any questions you think I should totally answer? (I'm really sorry I just needed to make it 5 questions) Why did you start making this? Also, what's your favorite genre of music (Tech Death Metal is Love <3)

I started making this because Scripters is slow around this time for reasons. So, every night at 10pm I make this and just leave it with a few questions in hope of invoking some form of intelligent discussion or at least invoking some reason for intelligence to show its face around this time other than for help requests. My favourite type of music varies. I like EDM (In general), I'm a good fan of people like Knife Party, Tut Tut Child, Savant, Teminite, The Brig and people like those who make moombahcore/ton, glitch hop and complextro. Despite loving moombahcore more than anything else, I hate dubstep and stuff that is similar. I sometimes like Bigroom House, especially Tico by Fox Stevenson. |

As far as programming goes, I only know Roblox Lua, and the basics of python, don't know any modules outside of time or random (Just to get my GCSE's done <3)
What should I learn to do? Web based programming like JavaScript or PHP, or something along the lines of C#. I've also been thinking about learning penetration testing, seems like a really interesting process that I might follow as a career.

Personally, I'm a C# programmer. I'd suggest you choose whatever you think you'd like to go into. If you want to make web apps, then js and php are helpful, but C# is super versative for both desktop and web deployment (With asp.net)
It's down to how you want to move forward, in the end. For penetration testing I'd actually suggest learning PHP and stuff like that. |

What is the most frequently asked question you've seen on here? A few, not even questions. So I bookmarked them in Chrome, and just drag a bookmark to create a link. http://blog.roblox.com/2012/05/using-wait-wisely/ http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Writing_Clean_Code (This is a more recent one) http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=How_to_Script_Anything (This is also a recent one, but I have known about this page for quite a while longer) I am also planning on adding more bookmarks, probably one for the "Fog Blog" page, since I have had to post that link twice now. Maybe I should also bookmark some other pages. Man, I have some really frequently asked ones, but I don't remember any off hand. ------------------- Ever used web IDEs? If so, which one? This also counts as a question that I have seen at least twice. ------------------- If we did band together into a development team (Which I still think we should totally do because you guys are awesome like that), what would be our first project? Well, if by "We" you meant me and you, I would go for a Kerbal mod since that is in C#, I am learning C#, you know C#, and yeah. Not to mention you said you used Unity, well, Kerbal uses Unity. ------------------- Have you ever accepted to be hired for the scripting half of a game? Yeah, it didn't work well. I just cannot seem to force myself to work hard. ------------------- Do you guys have any questions you think I should totally answer? (I'm really sorry I just needed to make it 5 questions) Why is OOP so much fun? |

OOP is so much fun because I'm really simple and the idea of being able to create all these things excites me a lot, even if it's not functional. I'm sorry for having asked the question twice. Us(We) would mean the development team if it were put together selected from the finest scripters on here (Still waiting for the "So not including you" comment...)
I refreshed my page and now I have 676 tix instead of 666 I'm pretty upset with that I really liked them all being the same number |

I knew what the "we" meant, but I have no idea what this subforum would work on. Although, since we would be doing it in numbers, we could get it all finished really quickly

What is the most frequently asked question you've seen on here? Stuff about DataStores. On the Daily Nightly, stuff about a development team (Which I still think we should totally do because you guys are awesome like that).
Ever used web IDEs? If so, which one? Nope.
If we did band together into a development team (Which I still think we should totally do because you guys are awesome like that), what would be our first project? That RPG API you were talking about.
Have you ever accepted to be hired for the scripting half of a game? Yes.
Do you guys have any questions you think I should totally answer? (I'm really sorry I just needed to make it 5 questions) If we were to make a development team, who would be in it exactly?

What is the most frequently asked question you've seen on here? Noobs asking me if I'll make a script for them. I'm nice enough to make them without viruses, but the idiots that can't even read scripts labeled INSTRUCTIONS in all caps need a life.
Ever used web IDEs? If so, which one? I have not. I thought about doing one though.
If we did band together into a development team (Which I still think we should totally do because you guys are awesome like that), what would be our first project? I'm already in a dev team, and inside I'm working on two of our four projects, and I am the gun builder/scripter. I'm doing Grim's Zombie World (in DEEP Pre-Alpha) and Dead Revolution (still working on the Inventory GUI, which is bugging out like crazy)
Have you ever accepted to be hired for the scripting half of a game? If you read the answer to the question above, you know that I will say yes. In fact, I'll say yes-9 times I have been hired, and for all 9 I have either completed my work or worked hard at it (because it's not done yet.)
Do you guys have any questions you think I should totally answer? (I'm really sorry I just needed to make it 5 questions) WHY CAN'T I DRINK THE WATER???

What is the most frequently asked question you've seen on here? Probably people not knowing how syntax (as simple as `and` or `then`) works
Ever used web IDEs? If so, which one? Does Atom count?
If we did band together into a development team (Which I still think we should totally do because you guys are awesome like that), what would be our first project? Something we all like, lau.
Have you ever accepted to be hired for the scripting half of a game? Yup, one of peaspod's games. Also, all*.
Do you guys have any questions you think I should totally answer? Uhh, what's 2 + 3 (i'm bad at questions too) |
