| It's made by a different UBISOFT studio, so it might be better or worse. We'll just have to see... |

Assassin's Creed used to be AMAZING.
It's still a pretty good game, but it's not as good. |

| You would think AC: Unity was amazing if it was the first game in the series. It's just overdone now, it's not worse. |

except it really was worse
the fact that they had the gall to release something as broken as they did is one thing, day one patches or not
the fact that it has terrible framerates on console (a PS4 averages around 20fps and X1 around 25, and the console version is locked at 900p, and graphically locked) is another (for comparison, a high-end current gen PC runs 60fps with ease at maximum possible graphics settings)
it had some interesting things, though, like the setting (the french revolution is certainly better than the colonies, IMO) |

@Nothing happened in Victorian London
Surely Victorian London would be all about the Industrial Revolution? That's one the things it's renowned for anyway.
Maybe it's just where I'm English, but I see a lot of potential in the setting. This time we'll be focusing less on conflicts concerning wars and civil revolutions, and instead focus on the changes to the working world and how it effected the common people.
When you consider how the Industrial Revolution is renowned for its terrible working conditions and its use of child labour workers (most workers were children and never even made it to adulthood) it's hard to say that nothing happened. Plus, the common working hours meant these people were pretty much living their entire lives there. All these thousands of people that would make up one factory would probably all be co-ordinated by just a handful of people.
If thousands of mis-treated labour workers (mainly children separated from families) in the worst conditions all being controlled by a handful of people doesn't shout potential for Templar antagonism then I don't know what does. |
