In the year 2072 A.D., the world is shattered; an oppressive government controls the last few vestiges of civilization, anywhere outside being a tattered wasteland: the totally inhospitable Dead Zone, and the abandoned Far Lands.
But first, it must be recounted, how did the world become this way?
2000 A.D. - Jason von Flugen is born
2034 A.D. - there was a new advancement in technology: humans could easily implant cybernetics that could make them faster, stronger, smarter. Originally, cybernetics were only available to the physically or mentally challenged – those missing limbs, or disabled at learning. Eventually, through the use of cybernetics, all plagues and ailments which ever harmed humanity were completely destroyed, there were operations to replace one's entire nervous system, even.
2037 A.D. - illegal operations began, to remove normal functioning limbs, in exchange for the more advanced cybernetic limbs. Some, however, used other methods – they'd damage their own limbs so badly that doctors would be forced to amputate the limb and replace it. Over time, doctors and governments caught on to this practice, and legalized cybernetics for non-medicinal purposes.
2040 A.D. - The governments of the world began creating the “perfect soldier”, and experiments found that the effect of such a measure would be promising. It became mandatory for all soldiers in their respective armies to undergo a highly controversial treatment to add a behavioral modification chip into their brain-stems.
2045 A.D. - The fifteen year Nanite Wars, in which the United Nations had developed a nanomachine which could alter living things on a molecular scale, controlling everything from nerves to thoughts, and reproduce itself indefinitely, provided matter was available to do so. All the countries fought for this new nanomachine, and dissolved the UN, thus starting the Nanite Wars.
2060 A.D. - The Nanite Wars ended with no victor. The United States of America, having the most resources at the time, attempted to annex other countries, which ended in failure. Beaten back, the US launched nuclear weapons at every other country on the globe, much to their own surprise.
When the smoke cleared, the last vestiges of any government formed together in the Safe Zone, and become the Conclave. The Conclave grew, and eventually controlled all of the Safe Zone, although branding anyone living in the Far Lands to be a barbarian menace.
For a time, the Conclave ruled just. For a time.
2065 A.D. - the Conclave rules martial law, due to “invading Farlanders”. During martial law, the Conclave assigns mandatory Nanite Therapy to every citizen in the Safe Zone, from then on, all children born are filled with nanites, which cannot be purged by any means other than death.
The Nanite Therapy performed, also resulted in bevahioral modifications of the affected persons, leading to undying loyalty to the Conclave.
2071 A.D. - Jason von Flugen is hiding in a bomb shelter in the far lands, where he discovers a science-fiction novel about genetic engineering. He begins work on cloning himself, but adding genetic modifications to his clones. 2072 A.D. - Jason von Flugen's work is complete, however, he is captured by the Conclave while scavenging for food. He smashed his head against a wall and died in an interrogation room, before they could perform Nanite Therapy on him.
This is also the year when all of you clones emerge from your cloning pods, with amplified abilities compared to a normal human.
Locations:
Safe Zone: The area governed by the Conclave. It isn't irradiated, and is protected, and self sustaining. In the center, is the Conclave Governance Center, the central fortress for governmental issues.
Far Lands: A mess of ruined modern buildings, although safe to inhabit, there isn't much here. The Conclave searches for vestiges of pure, unaltered, humanity here, of which Jason was the last.
Dead Zone: A totally irradiated, gas-choked wasteland. Totally inhospitable, and impossible to traverse without special equipment.
Powers:
Strength Strength allows you to carry more, hit harder, and move large objects more easily. Strength increases your muscle mass, thus allowing you to resist more damage.
Speed Speed allows you to move faster, and it's not just limited to running. Speed can be dangerous at times, to both its user and its user's foe.
Intelligence Intelligence allows you to think of plans and strategies that others wouldn't, it also allows you to be better at skills like hacking, or using firearms.
Senses Senses gives you heightened senses, and allows you to see, smell, hear, feel, and taste things more acutely. The disadvantage is that it makes it difficult to sleep sometimes.
Agility Agility allows you to perform acrobatic feats such as parkour, and backflips. However, you cannot move as fast as someone with speed.
Voice Voice allows you to shout at volumes and frequencies which can disrupt the molecular structure of nearby objects.
Regeneration Regeneration allows you to heal wounds faster, but you might get hungry a lot.
Describe your character below in paragraph form, along with which mutation you wish for. Each player may only pick a mutation not already chosen by another player, and you cannot pick multiple mutations.
EXAMPLE: One player picks strength, then the second player cannot. They can may reserve a replacement mutation however, simply by posting.
I have the right to deny or accept the reserve. |

| (Right, sorry for the triple post, but do we have a different appearance than our creator, benefactor and all that other praise, or do we get our own?) |

Also probably should have mentioned this is a free-choice-ISRP cross-hybrid. You'll see how it plays out soon enough.
NOTE: My reserve system works by the power being reserved, but a more renowned RPer can counter that reserve with their own if they so require.
EXAMPLE: Minun reserves intelligence. Wifi comes along and wants intelligence, so I give it to Wifi because he's more known.
@Slack Speed it is. Just a warning, speed does not allow parkour and backflips like agility does. You can move faster than Usane Bolt, though. So that's good. |

I'd like to reserve Intelligence.
Though if I don't post my character within the week, consider me to not be joining and re-open Intelligence. |

(I just realised how ironic my reservation is.)
Luc (I'm assuming we get names, too?) is 5'11", with short, black hair and blue eyes. He has Caucasian skin, and an athletic build. I'm terrible at this sort of thing, so I'm just gonna leave it at that and assume we have like a jumpsuit or whatever on because clone tubes and not nakedness don't mix well unless it's a sorta jumpsuit thingy. |

(Boo. Detail. I'm terrible at detail. Half of my appearance usually consists of clothing. Without it, my CS looks terrible. Okay, I'll put in more effort, so long as you don't go all "see what you can do if you put in a little elbow grease and headlight fluid" on me.)
Luc is a Caucasian male with blue eyes and short, neat black hair. Luc is 5'11", and his athletic build is well suited to his mutation granted to him from the cloning; agility.
(Do we include personality, too? You should be more specific when saying "describe your character".) |

(To answer your earlier question about jumpsuits, clothes get spit out from a dispenser at the top of your machine. Use that as reference. It can be any outfit you want.)
