Recently, I had a math test and I got 18/52 points. Most people bombed the test (did bad) and got like 32's and such, but 18 is such a bad score and my mom got mad.
However just today my binder check grade came in (social studies) and I got a -3 all just because I didn't put my numbers on the papers (for example on the first paper in the notebook, 1, page 2, page 3, page 4, etc.) there were only 7 pages also, and it's JUST because I didn't put my numbers.
My mom would get furious if she saw a -3 on my binder check.
I am wondering if I should forge her signature, but afraid the teacher may check it to see if it's legible (he may be suspicious that I wouldn't show it to my mom)
I am also debating if I should show it to my mom.
What should I do?
Also, if you say I should show it to my mom, how should I do it?

Show your mom. Just cover the Minus when giving it to her.

The teacher expects it signed though, otherwise they may call my parents which would just stir up trouble.

Don't forge it, just try to find some way to cover it when showing it to her.

If it's somehow covered she'll ask me what I got if I say a lie she still can check it. Also, it's -3, which is a horrible grade, I never get grades like these, ever. It's a binder check anyway, not a test, not deciding your smartness, but it's still a grade. Even if I covered the - up, 3 is horrible too.
Wondering weather I should just tell my mom, but what should I do to loosen her up? |

if you never get grades like this she shouldn't get so worked up because everyone has bad spells once in a while. i went from an a+ to a c- on my report card and got it back up to an a+ within a couple weeks.

Explain the test thourghly. Explain why you didn't get the marks, etc. I mean if it's a binder check it only proves organization, just tell her that. If you are a good organizer you should prove so, if you aren't you should try and work harder.

Show it to your mum. Just get it over with. Then, after that, try a lot harder at school. Study a lot. Improve. Get a better mark next time. Your mum would be proud if you did well.

You can forge the signature if you know your mom won't see that sheet. As for your math mark, there is only one way to improve and that is to practice. Do some of your old homework question again, or find questions online.

Also, what grade are you in? I'm a tutor and may be able to help you a bit, especially in mathematics.

Show it to your mom. Tell her what you did wrong. And next time you will do better. Also if your having any problems on any other work talk with your mom about it and she will help you.

@mgmt
Exactly.
@Husky
Wish I could, but the teacher clearly expects it. If a signed test isn't back, he may get a little mad, but if it's a test with a -3, he'll get suspicious very easily.
@greenhouses
I agree with you completely.
@study
Yeah, same. Also, I don't think you should worry about art unless you pursue it as a career.
@Geg
Agreed
@pro
+ 3 wouldn't make sense as a grade
@OT
It was shown as a number. |
