| It's only possible to argue it's objectively superior. Not subjectively. |

better graphics
typically better performance (as in smoother gameplay)
modding (not cheap console "mods", real mods. some of which can make the game completely different)
ability to use literally any controller you wish
typically higher PPI (due to using monitors, however they can also be used for consoles)
more exclusives
cheaper games
sales are more often and in larger discount (which still contributes to the developer, unlike buying used)
despite what most people believe, less hackers than consoles
id think of more but i dont feel like it atm |

I cant really say "better graphics" or anything along those lines. Due to everyone having a unique PC and playing games at different settings.
I would personally say PC gaming is superior but it has just as many flaws.

@mista
often when you sell games you lose money
buying the games discounted and keeping them forever, you pretty much null the need to sell them as you've saved either what you would lose or more by purchasing it discounted |

Well, there's a big list, but I'll just list a few...
1. They're cheaper. Now don't get me wrong, my build was expensive as hell costing me around $700. The thing is, even a $400 dollar PC can pretty much out perform next gen consoles with both higher framerates AND a higher resolution. Most console users tend to look towards pre-built PCs, which are just a waste of money. If you want something that is gonna be worth your money, you're gonna have to build it (which really isn't that hard). The games are also really, realllly cheap. My most recent bargain was Fallout New Vegas for $2.50.
2. You can use any peripherals you want. Whether it be a gamepad, a K/M, or a controller of your choice, most PC games are friendly to any sorts of controllers. I have an Xbox 360 controller myself just for those driving games that needs the analog controls of a controller.
3. You can use PCs for more than just gaming, but as a video player, an Internet machine, a server(given that your PC can handle it), a way of communication, and anything you basically do with an average PC.
If you want a full list, here's a guide to it http://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/wiki/guide#wiki_why_should_i_choose_a_pc_over_a_console.3F |

If you actually take that seriously. Words can not describe how much of an idiot you are. |
