On certain places that I have, I will suddenly not be able to drag bricks anymore. Only the move tool works to move them. This can be super frustrating when I am trying to build. Once that happens to a place, it is like that forever. Does anyone know what the matter is, and can it be fixed?

Ctrl+1 to select the mouse tool. Ctrl+2 to select the handle drag tool. Ctrl+3 to select the resize drag tool. Ctrl+4 to select the rotate drag tool.
By default, the mouse tool USED to be selected. But it hasn't been selected by default for a bit now. |

That's not the problem, though. I do have the mouse tool selected, and when I click on a part and hold to drag, it just stays frozen in that spot.

This may have something to do with surface types, but I can't be certain. Let me know if you figure out, I'm curious haha.

Are the parts locked? That might be the problem, but then again, you might be smarter than that.

No, not locked, and surfaces don't affect it. I build quite a lot, and it only happens at certain games. If I create a new place, it is fine. But I never know when all of a sudden it won't work anymore. I can select a part, and I can use all the tools on it, but I can't hold down the mouse button and drag it. If I try, it either de-selects it, or it just sits there selected. I funny thing I have noticed, sometimes (not all the time) if I point the view up at the sky, I can drag the part up into the skybox, and if I keep holding it, sometimes I can bring it back to the baseplate.

Oh, this is the way we bump our post, bump our post, bump our post. This is the way we bump our post, so buried in the forums.

I've found if you are too close to a Part you can't drag it anywhere. Does zooming out help?

What Scot said, it can get pretty annoying.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter where I have the view, what the part is, or anything else that I can do. I tried making a new place today, and it started doing it right away. I couldn't even move the first brick.
