i am in a relationship with this hella cool babe, and were really close and stuff but were also both polyamorous which means we like to maintain multiple romantic relationships with people
so once we started dating, we talked about it and decided that we were the main people in the relationship (like we would seek marriage with each other instead of other people we would date) but also if we both liked someone they could also be a part of the relationship and that we could both date people outside of our own relationship
like for example, after we talked this all out, she started dating this dude called duncan (but then she broke up with him cause he was repeatedly asking her to choose between me and him and asking her to break up with me)
ANYWAYS, theres this girl i like who i wanna date, but like the day before i was going to ask her out my best friend did
which, y'know, i dont mind cause he obviously likes her, but i dont know if it would be okay to approach her or not because the friend thats dating her is also polyamorous and their relationship seems to be strictly sxual
any advice, ot? |

| i mean, if your friend is cool with you dating her as well, and it doesn't cause any problems, i don't see why not. |

if you think that you dating the girl will lead to problems, I suggest that you just don't. |

slayer
nah hes cool
i talked to my mom about it and she kinda sorta pressured me into telling his parents, ans then a couple days later he messaged me and i was scared he found out but because at the time i had been missing a lot of school due to sickness, he said that he realized he probably couldnt live without me there as a friend and that he deeply regrets what he did
he also outed himself to his parents (even though id already told them) about his violent tendencies and what happened that night which is a MASSIVE step, and yeah hes seeing a psychologist |

yeah
i still worry though
while he makes less murder jokes he still seems kinda violent, and i really worry about the girl hes dating, because she is very vocal and has little squabbles with him a lot, and i really dont want her to get hurt
he swore he wouldnt hurt me again but im not sure what that means for everyone else |
