Welcome to whats gonna become the first installment of SAO:Roblox edition This level is gonna takes months to complete with a release date no sooner then 2015 christmas.
The game will be developed slowly and with care over the course of 2015. And if they game is not at a satisfactory level by then then it may be pushed on towards 2016.
I may start looking for builders but I also have very little time to talk things through with them and to explain what to do every day.
This level has a timeline that I hope I will be able to follow. January- Basic terrain Febuary-Advanced terrain March- Movement between levels April- Buildings May- Menu GUI June- Planning (This month will be to plan out legendary weapons and unlockables) July- Get back to speed (This month will be the start of the NPC system) Auguest- NPC and Quest September-NPC and Quest October- TBA November-TBA December-TBA
If you do not know of Sword Art Online:
Sword Art Online takes the form of a giant floating castle called Aincrad, with 100 floors in it. Each floor has a medieval-themed setting and a dungeon with a boss, which has to be defeated before players can advance to the next higher floor. Like most RPGs, it implements a level based system. Sword Art Online is set in Aincrad, a floating castle of 100 floors. At its base, it is approximately 10 kilometers in diameter, and it is completely rendered in all dimensions. Because of the nature of Aincrad as a floating castle, there are no invisible barriers or no-access regions at the edges of the map. Aincrad's perimeter is merely surrounded by guard rails that can be jumped off of (the system will render falling for approximately 2 minutes before suicide is registered as death).
Each individual floor has its unique climate, geography, fauna, and environment. Some floors are known for being fairly cold, while others are known for flowers and forests. Most floors on Aincrad have a theme.

I would also like to say that though this may sound like a very hard project for a low fame builder like me. But I come from the gameplay side of roblox. I know what goes and what doesnt. What people like and what people dont.
I will not release this game under any circumstances unless its in a playable state. Which means it must have
Map (First 5 floors done) Roleplaying Ability (Buildings, PVP safe zones, Alternative to global chat) Skill set (A full Skill table) PVP (Low-Med Level Weapons, 25% Of legendary's complete) Fighting (Enemy A.I, Quest A.I) Player Customization (A general customization system)
When I have all of those done then I will open the game up to Paid access. This will probably come around August or October. But again. These dates are not confirmed as scedules can change.
I hope you give me time and patience to get this done as this is a very large project and i'm very ambitious about it ^-^ |

As of December third the limitations to roblox make the map hard to build. But I wont let down. The map will be free roam and you will be able to go where you want. You will be able to buy a house. Every floor up the houses get more pricey and more stylish. The higher level houses will take weeks to get to as I will have a save feature.
Back to the fact that roblox makes Aincrad hard to build. The level will have to be built in 4 quarters. Level 1-25 Level 25-50 Level 50-75 Level 75-100 The final 25 levels are a long ways ahead but at the scale im hoping to achive with the levelling system I dont think much people will be able to get to level 100 as Its technically impossible to kill the boss without teamwork of over 20 people.
This level is a very ambitious as said before but I dont plan to fail. |
