| How do I make it so buildings can be destroyed without going all over them with the weld too? If I add welds to all parts in properties can I hide the ugly diamond pattern? |

| Even though all surfaces are welds, they just fall apart? |

| You could have them all un-anchor at once, and if they're CFramed at all, you're bound to have stuff fly. |

| The problem with this is that they wouldn't be affected by the force of the explosion. |

| So.. no way to have blow up-able buildings from an already anchored/cframed map? |

| If your issue is with the aesthetics of welding all the bricks of the building, you can insert brick meshes into the bricks which won't change how they look but will prevent you from seeing the surface types. The downside is that the materials will also be hidden from view also. |

@Zanz, no.
It goes in the script that creates the explosion.
example:
local Player = game.Players.LocalPlayer local Mouse = Player:GetMouse()
Mouse.Button1Down:connect(function() local explosion = Instance.new("Explosion", workspace) explosion.Position = Mouse.Hit.p explosion.Hit:connect(function(Part) Part.Anchored = false end) end) |

just use my weld script that you place in a model to make it destroyable: http://www.roblox.com/weld-item?id=187872045

| My script unanchors parts, there's no need to weld. |

| Last time i checked giving it a material hides the surface on multiplayer. If you want to keep it without no obvious looking material, change it to "SmoothPlastic" |

Try Glueing the parts together without anchoring them or try the offical Scripting Helpers website offically by roblox to help you with all your scripting needs. I hope this was helpful ^-^ |

If you want to make realistic buildings, you would use something called fragmentation; the definition explains it's meaning. You can do (or most likely I can), Implosions (don't destroy the part but fragmentates the area of the explosion force, fall apart), you can make holes (ovbiously delete it), & more. The free modelled fragmentation scripts is what you shouldn't use, they suck - just a heads up. |
