| I'm not sure if they've fixed this already, but when you try to quickly respawn a player, they automatically get respawned 5 seconds later anyway and there is (or was) no way to fix this within our bounds. |

Then script it so it loads the character after the game loads.
Seriously, they don't need to remove a feature of the game because you don't know how to script what you want to do. |

Its obvious that neither of you know how to script. I've been programming, scripting, and formatting for 5 years, thank you very much. Just because I don't fully know every detail of RBX.Lua doesn't mean I haven't mastered C# and C++.

run the first script mentioned, write a wait function or if you are very advanced (probably are, judging by your primary) make a GUI that has a button to respawn, and afterwards write a script for the player to spawn.
i don't know what the script would look like, but i'm guessing that would be about right, if you can interpret that into lua... |

Click on your spawnpoint while in studio, then scroll down till you see something like respawn time then lower that
