1 [RSF] THE EVACUATION OF AEQUOR
As the sun set from the current skybox, the light that provided a clear view of the battlefield began to withdraw, and dark grey shadows took its place. Fruitbox, better known as “Commander Fruit” or simply “Fruit” to many under his command, was currently surveying the chaos that was progressing from an underwater tank. A sigh escaped his mouth as he continued to monitor the scene above.
Aequor was a very simple archipelago. There were several set islands that were seeded throughout the sea that Fruit was currently stationed in. The first was the Roblox Special Force’s deployment island. This island held several bunkers and minor bases where RSF could refuel and deploy in the event of a battle. Towards the center of the archipelago was a moderately sized island that held a small recreation center. On this island resided Fruit’s personal office, RSFs meeting hall, a hot tub, several unused garages, Long John’s Cobras (A restaurant that was known for its butthurt brownies and garden snake shakes), and a watchtower for surveying one of the 3 terminals on the island. The third island was a highly elevated island that held RSF’s emergency rally hall. Below this island resided a secret terminal that, when activated with two others, would cause a chain reaction that would detonate the entire archipelago. The others resides within an artificial waterfall and a secluded island 4 miles from the central island.
Fruit, currently nested off the coast of the central island, was watching the events unfolding before him. The Urban Assault Forces were currently raiding the Aequor Archipelago, and winning at that. They had successfully overtaken RSF’s deployment island, and are camping 3 tanks in the waters that lead out to the remaining islands. Along with that, they had successfully stormed the Waterfall terminal (B), and the Rally Hall terminal (C). While securing both, a small squad began to head for the secluded terminal (A), and were on the verge of successfully destroying Aequor.
“Fruit! Commander Fruit, can you hear me?” A lone voice called from the communications within his tank.
“Yes, who is this? What’s happening now?” He responded, the stress present in his voice. Against any other odds, Fruit would be out right now, fighting off the defenses that surrounded Aequor. Unfortunately, he knew that the current force was overpowering, and any of his interference would only lead to more disaster. This was anything but good for him.
“It’s me, Seany. UAF has begun making demands. They want to speak to the Head of War, Arlong, but he’s currently unavailable!” Seany responded, the tone of his voice filled with concern.
Fruit, under pressure and comprising a plan, began to think about how he would handle the situation at hand. There was no meeting UAF’s demands if he did not know what they wanted.
“Seany, I’m putting you as temporary Head of War until I can find out where Arlong is. What was his last location?” Fruit said.
Seany, taking a moment, responded hesitantly. “Well, we last heard him over a scrambled radio connection, right before the raid began. He was stationed at B, but knowing that UAF is currently there was well, he’s either been captured or is dead.”
Fruit took the former as a means to keep himself calm, but progressed none-the-less. “Seany, carry out my commands. I have an idea.”
Before a response came, Fruit cut off his com link and began to move towards UAF’s tanks. Although UAF’s men were raiding, they were not raiding with their own tech. They had all of the waterfront tanks, and with that, their weaknesses. Fruit aimed the barrel of his tank’s cannon at the lower part of the enemy tanks. The ballast tank, which controlled buoyance of the weaponized vehicles, was what he was aiming for. With the click of a button, Fruits launched a cannon at the button of the center tank, causing the ballast tank to fill and the tank itself to submerge. Without a helmet or any swimming gear, the leader of RSF opened the hatch to his tank and swam out to the tank he had sunken. Inside, two UAF soldiers were trying to release the vent on the tank and re-emerge it from water, while a third was opening the hatch to escape without his comrades. Against all odds, Fruit entered the ship and engaged the two who were working on the tank. Taking out a sword to match the ones the enemy held, he lunged for one, effectively stabbing his wrist and puncturing his artery. As his sword dropped, he took it in his left hand and stabbed the other trooper, one blade going through his chest while the other blocked the oncoming sword.
“START THE COUNTDOWN!” He heard from the trooper attempting to escape, a radio in his hand and a sly smile on his face. Fruit had no issue pulling out a handgun and shooting the arrogant man directly in the forehead, yet concern crossed him when he realized that he had 5 minutes to get everyone off of the island before it was too late.
Fruit unlocked the hatch that the soldier had been working at, and pushed it open with all of his strength. As the water began to leak in and equalize the pressure, he successfully opened the hatch and swam behind one of the tanks. This was a precise move, killing them all before they noticed that he was on the water. Moving up and over the first tank, he fired a shot into the drivers head. The two soldiers in front of him turned around, randomly firing shots in Fruit’s direction. Flipping off of the tank, he swam to the front and shot the two in the back of the head. The two soldiers on the opposing tank began to fire at him, but Fruit used his surrounding resources, and, in a strange yet useful effort to survive, used the two dead bodies as a human shield. He threw them into the water, pushing aside the dead driver and sitting down in the tank. Before the soldiers could give a command, Fruit turned the barrel of the cannon towards the soldiers, and fired, successfully blowing up the tank next to him, and sending hot shrapnel across the field.
“Well,” Fruit’s said to the crowd of RSF that were surrendered in front of him. “That was a rush.”
Seany, quickly pushing off of the ground and climbing up to the tank, looked at Fruit’s in complete shock. That, however, faded into fear when he noticed two things.
“Fruit’s, we have an issue.” He said. “UAF had demanded that we give them the code to your office or else they would open fire on this island. I gave it to them, but I don’t know what they’re doing up there. Along with that, I got word that they were going to blow up the archipelago in a few minutes!”
“Two.” Fruit’s responded, looking down at a timer in the seat of the tank. “We have 114 seconds before this island blows up. They won’t make it out of my office and off the island before that, so we’re good to go. Along with that, we need to get the hell out of here.”
Seany, turning to the forces currently on the island, gave them a blank stare. “Do you all not have ears?” He asked. “Get a boat and let’s go!”
Each of them, dumbfounded for a moment, sprang up and shuffled to get boats from the surrounding docks. In less than a minute, 3 boats were overfilled with around 20 people each.
“Dear god, these kids can be such an issue. LET’S GO!” Seany yelled, jumping off the tank and landing on one of the 3 speed boats. Fruit’s took his advice, less of a command to him, and hopped on an adjacent boat. All 3 began to push off the island, and leave the zone of the Archipelago.
“Hey, Seany?” He asked, looking back at the islands only about a mile away. “How much longer till that bomb goes off?”
Seany, turning to a holographic panel on the glass covering for the boat, watched as the counter slowly ticked down from 5.
“I’d say about 3 seconds.” He added.
“Wait, what?” And with the force and speed of ISOLAYTOR pleasuring himself in the presence of Vaktus, every solider participating in the raid was thrown over to Arvore II, and lived happily ever after.
The end ^-^
