I don't know if this is correct, but try this:
People make images by creating the decals into shirts. Since subtracting one from the end of an ID number, you can find the "image" of the shirt. Try making your desired decal a shirt. That should hopefully work. |

Thanks, and is that a functioning knife texture because textures i've seen look more like
this:http://www.roblox.com/Hat-test-item?id=88968253
than:http://www.roblox.com/Default-item?id=155344898 |

Are you trying to create a texture to wrap around an item, or change a texture you have from an already created Mesh item?
I have heard ways to wrap 6 decals around a CSG Unioned item, but I don't know if you can actually create a texture for any ROBLOX item.
You can retexture them by copying and changing images, as you have seen from the Hat-test-item.
You may have to subtract 1,2,3 or more from the TextureID number if a lot of people were uploading at the same time.

| And that Image of Loleris' is just that, a decal of a knife, not a Texture. |

@Scottifly I believe the original poster is trying to explain that he needs an image, not a decal.
@AzureAres What you have to do is get your desired decal, and make it into a T-SHIRT, not a shirt. Sorry if I was mistaken on that last post, but I know making the decal into a t-shirt, then subtracting one from the ID's last digit will get you the image you need. |

| What you can also do is make the image you desire a decal, then subtract one from the last number in the ID. |

@Azure I understand you want to make images for your textures, but why do you want images in the first place? |
