| Technically, if you post "Off-topic" things in a forum in "Off topic", isn't in on-topic? Therefore, On-topic is off topic, correct? But, if it's on-topic and we are posting off-topic things, then the rules are broken, so in order for the board to be accepting correct topic posts, the forum must be on-topic. |

| Thus being said, no post can be posted that complies to the rules of an off-topic post on off-topic |

| So in theory, is this actually possible? Technically, we are conforming to the board rules by posting things that are off-topic to other boards, but at the same time posting on-topic things in an off-topic board. Therefore, since on-topic things do not conform to off-topic board rules, would they be off-topic threads? |

| We must think about what "Off-topic" really means by being a board name; Is it for Off-topic threads, or threads that are off-topic to other boards? |

| So, an on-topic post is off-topic inside the board of off-topic, but an off-topic post is on-topic! Amazing, huh? |

off topic, meaning off the topic of roblox
therefore, if you post something on the topic of roblox, it's on topic and does not belong in off topic
if you post something OFF the topic of roblox, it is off topic and belongs in the off topic forum. there is no specific topic of the off topic forum, therefore it is not on topic. |

Yes, but posting off-topic things about roblox on a board that is DESIGNATED for off-topic posts means that they are on-topic to off-topic. |

>OFF TOPIC: ANYTHING NOT TO DO WITH ROBLOX
>OFF TOPIC SUBFORUM: THREADS THAT ARE IN OT SHOULD BE ON TOPIC IN REGARDS TO ANYTHING NOT TO DO WITH ROBLOX
>THEREFORE MAKING A THREAD IN OFF TOPIC THAT IS ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN ROBLOX IS ON TOPIC FOR THE OFF TOPIC SUBFORUM, AND THEREFORE ALLOWED

there is no specific topic in off topic
so no post can be on topic in off topic |

| Off-topic posts are a topic; they are categorized as posts that do not fit criteria of other topics. |

the off-topic subforum does not mean that we should post things off-topic to the designated reason of off-topic
the off-topic subforum is here for us to post things off-topic to ROBLOX |

| Yes, of course. But, if it's off-topic to ROBLOX and it's on-topic to off-topic, then you can't post an off-topic off-topic post in off-topic unless it's on-topic. |

It's called Off Topic because it's any other topic then the defaults. The reason why you're thinking too hard is because ROBLOX should have named it "Other". |

| Your point is invalid, You're basing all your information off of a title of a supposed topic. This whole thread should be unknown. |
