a lot of people want the bloxxer badge right?
well some games just don't support that....like obbys.
you die a TON but there is no way to get a ko in that game so its unfair.
or games like 1000 ways to pie.
its fun but it hinders getting the bloxxer badge.
I know a lot of people don't want the bloxxer badge but for the people that do this would make it more fair.

it would be a game setting in the configure section of games.
not something whos not the creator of the game could change. |

I made a thread exactly like this long time ago and many people said this will encourage ODing.

| No Support. How exactly would this be implemented? The corners are already covered in various UI, there's almost nowhere to put it. Plus, what's the use of it in-game? You can just see it on your profile anyways. |

Im not sure if you understand but ko/wo is your count of kills and deaths.
so its ONLY useful in game.

I understand, but you can check it on your account, and many games don't have KOs/WOs or they make their own systems for it. If you mean KOs and WOs on the leaderboard, then that's an entirely different thing done via scripting. |

@small What he means is that non-PvP game makers have the option to turn off Wipeouts/Kills so that it does not show up on your record.

| This is sort of a useless feature though. It could be abused by having PVP players turn it off, too. |

Scriptable.
Scr-ipt-able: A meaning that this can be scripted/maked by the owner of the game

PvP players...
I meant creators, damnit.
Basically if any game can opt out of it, it's a bit unfair. |

I don't see how its unfair.
the creator chooses whether or not his game counts wos/kos.

Let's saaaay... loleris turned his KO/WO count off. His games are very freemium, and for the most part they don't affect gameplay at all. Right?
Then let's say other games do it too, and there's one that has it on that has very heavy VIP benefits.
Suddenly, the KO/WO system becomes useless because it doesn't truly reflect a player's average.
You have to ensure that all games count it, so you get data from the heavy, non-heavy, and none sides to balance each other out. Otherwise the system won't work. |

Forcing everyone to somehow opt in would be an extremely bad idea. Obbies may have only WOs, but they're *meant* to, that's the kind of game they are.
Therefore, it falls on the player - is he willing to risk dying repeatedly?
Yes, yes he is. Because he likes obbies. |

a lot of games that SHOULD count kos don't count them.
many times I use gear in a game and I look at my ko count to see that the gear wont give me kos.
