| So do not expect anything good from the movie adaptation. |

I liked it. Hate that some people had to die, but makes sense too. Coin's death - awh yeah.

It was well-written but I didn't like it all that much
Honestly expected more from Suzanne Collins since the last book in the Gregor the Overlander series was so good ;_; |

the first film was already rated well, and that doesn't mean it'll be bad it will be great

| As with most cases, I preferred the books to the films as of so far. But I still loved the movies and judging by the trailers and the number of my friends going to the cinema to watch it tonight (they should be finishing about now), it's going to be pretty epic. |

"I feel relieved not to have read it now"
it's basically twilight except it ruined dystopian fiction instead of vampires |

Elizabeth banks is the best actress in the series. the two main boys are generic teen fiction male characters (especially gale) and katniss is stupid and boring beyond belief (although Jennifer Lawrence does bring her charm to the role)
soundtrack to the previous movies was awful. I've not seen mockingjay yet so I can't judge on that, and I've yet to hear the lorde song (although when pop artists do a song specifically for a movie they're usually incredibly cheesy)
the concept is pretty good, but the plot to mockingjay is just so boring.
overall it's an alright series - nothing groundbreaking, but it's not awful. |

Katniss isn't really stupid or boring, and moore is supposed to be great I agree she does a good job with effie
Catching Fire soundtrack was really good, and the soundtrack to Mockingjay Part I is really really good, Lorde was featured on 4 of the tracks and was an amazing curator for all of it. I disagree completely with them being incredibly cheesy..
and the rest is coming from someone who praises everything tarantino does |

It may be a cash grab but by stretching out a small-ish book into two movies they probably won't miss out too many details from the book.
I hope they include Boggs's "We just saw Finnick Odair in his underwear". That was the best sentence. |
