♔ [EGB] The British 95th Rifles Manual♔
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Trainees must be specially selected and trained for their roles as rifleman. During your first week of training, you will be yelled at, mentally and physically challenged in order to get the best infantry. Remember you’re the first on the ground and last to come home because you’re skirmishers. You are to be destroyed from your silly sense of individuality and you will work as a unit.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Trainee Stage I: You will revisit things from the manual. These are things you should already know. If the trainee does not know how to do one or more of the following, then they are unfit to be in the 95th.
-Drill (Attention, At ease, Rest, Faces, Inclines) -Firing Procedure -Volley Fire -Ripple Fire
The trainee will also learn the basics of our regiment. They are as follows:
-The 95th are skirmishers. Explain to the trainee what skirmishing is if he doesn't know. -We do not shoulder nor fix bayonets. We port firelocks whenever ordered to shoulder, etc. -For marching, the commanding officer will say "MOVE OUT". -Uniform etiquette requires normal faces, no t-shirts unless a medal, political badge, or poppy, and the shirt and trousers according to rank. -Trainees will be informed that Riflemen are to uphold the three standards of the Royal Army at all times, and failure to do so will result in an exile from the 95th and/or the Royal Army.
Trainee Stage II: You will quickly go over the material covered in Stage I. Once again, you will revisit subjects in the drill manual, that the trainee should already have knowledge of. They are as follows:
-Formations -Open/Close Ranks -Customs and Courtesies
Along with the drill manual material, this stage is focused around finding their battalion. The First Battalion is composed of the sword fighters, whereas the Second Battalion is composed of the marksmen. To test this, you will either sword fight the trainee and judge him based on your ability level compared to his, and his technique. To test for the second battalion, you will set up clones approximately 100 studs away and have the trainee first snipe the clones standing still, and then practice skirmishing the clone. Based on his performance, you will assign him a battalion. NOTE: If the trainee performs below 95th expectations for both battalions, he is to be removed from his training as a Rifleman.
Trainee Stage III: The final training stage includes:
-Wheels -"On Center"
By now, the trainee should know the ins and outs of the 95th Rifles, and is to be put into a final field test. The trainee is to also attend a full line battle with a:
-Battalion Commander -Regimental Sergeant Major -Regimental Executive Officer -Regimental Commanding Officer
to witness his progress. If the trainee fails to perform up to standard at the line battle, he will be forced to retake Stage III. The trainee is only allowed to retake the stage once. If the trainee fails again, he will be removed from his training and the Rifles. If the trainee performs adequately, he will be moved into his selected battalion and become an official rifleman.
Trainees are allowed to take only one stage per day.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Training: Battalion commanders are required to hold at least two trainings per week specific to their battalion and report each training to the Regimental Commander. Battalion commanders are not allowed to hold mixed battalion trainings. The Sergeant Major is required to hold at least four trainings per week and report each training to the Regimental Commander. The RSM is allowed to hold mixed battalion trainings. The Executive Officer is required to hold at least four trainings per week and at the end of each week, report the overall conditions of the trainings. The Executive Officer is allowed to hold mixed battalion trainings. The Regimental Commander is to hold one massive training each week composing of battalion commanders, the Regimental Sergeant Major, and rankers. The Executive Officer will co-host this training at the Regimental Commander's discretion. If there is a scheduled training, you are to either be there or report to the person who is holding the training at least thirty minutes prior to the training as to why the rifleman cannot attend. Trainings should include the following:
The first stage of the training period:
• Marksmanship • Swordsmanship • How to properly steady a rifle
The second stage of the training period:
• Drill Manual • Manual of Arms • How to act like a proper riflemen
The third stage of the training period:
• Advanced Marksmanship • Advanced swordsmanship • How to properly steady a rifle and when to use 3rd person
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Riflemen are the best of the best, and must show it at all times. Any foolishness and lack of the three Royal Army standards will result in removal from the 95th Rifles.
