We operate on ships and landing missions. We are By Sea, By Land, land operations as well as Naval Operations. All Royal Marines must be able to pass The Royal Marine Cadet Stages before passing onto the rank of Private. All civilians may enlist and be placed at the rank "Enlistment" until they may move onto Cadet Stage I. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Enlistment: Fresh meat civilians, willing to devote their time and mind to Corps of Royal Marines. Britain's most elite spear-headed assault infantry unit. A fair warning to all enlistee's, you are subjecting yourself to any mental strain or emotional abuse you may receive during and after training. You have been warned.
Cadet Stage I: Formalities - Royal Marine Cadets will learn how to properly speak to officers, NCOs, fellow cadets and enlisted personal. - Royal Marines will refer to superior officers as "Sir" or "Ma'am" depending on his or her gender. - Royal Marines will refer to NCOs (Corporal-Sergeant Major of The Marine Corps) by their rank. Example: "AYE-AYE, SERGEANT MAJOR!" "NO, CORPORAL!" - Royal Marine Officers will refer to lower officers by his or her rank.
Cadet Stage II: Drill - All Royal Marines must have perfection in armed and unarmed drill. - Attention, Stand at Ease, Parade Rest, Rest, Faces, Inclines, formations - All Royal Marines must know faces and how to properly march in lines. - Flank Marches - Quick March - Light Foot Formation - All Royal Marines must make perfectly straight lines. - Royal Marines will become familiar with the manual of arms.
Cadet Stage III: Combat - Royal Marines will learn melee combat. - Stabbing with bayonets, bashing, bracing and charging - Sword fighting - Royal Marines will learn musketry - Musket commands - Volley fire - Ripple fire - Fire at will - Fire and advance
Pass Out Ceremony - Royal Marine Cadets will report to Fort George or The Royal Marines Training Centre and will march in parade formation. - Royal Marine Cadets will recite the Oath of Allegiance and be deemed Royal Marines with the rank of Private. |
