I used to like artists like deadmau5, blackmill, and the Glitch Mob. However I recently realized how annoying and loud those sounds are, and switched my pandora station to Mozart music. I encourage you guys to try it, because his music doesn't have as big and loud of frequencies as electro artists do. The natural beauty of the instruments allow me to relax and focus, where the electro would get me pumped and anxious. While both have their qualities, I prefer focus.
What do you guys listen to? |

If I listen to music while programming, I mostly listen to instrumental music so that I wont start focusing on the words. Also mostly soundtrack music to get me in the mood for the game I'm working on. Sci-Fi game: Deus Ex and Mass Effect soundtrack, Fantasy: Elder scrolls scoundtrack, etc.

I do the same. Karl Jenkins makes music on the belief that the voice should be an instrument, but it should not take away from the music nor be too distracting. He makes syllables specifically to not draw your attention. |
