Here are the lyrics:
Now, this is a story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute Just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
In West Philadelphia, born and raised Inside my house where I spent most of my days Chilling out, watching Breadwinners was cool And listening to my teachers always at school When a couple of guys who were up to no good Blamed me for all trouble in my neighborhood I didn't do anything, but my mom got scared She said 'You're moving to your aunt and uncle in Bel-Air'
I respected her opinion day after day For I was a good kid who never lost my way She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket I got on my iPhone and said, 'Mama, I'll come back fit'.
Sitting in economy, this is great Paying seven fifty for two peanuts on a small tray Is this what the people of Bel-Air live like? Hmmmmm, this will be quite alright!
But wait, I hear they're crusty, mean and hate to chat Is this the type of place that goes to the dogs, not cats? I don't think so... I'll see when I get there I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air
Well, the plane landed and when I came out I hopped on the bus to the light rail, money I was without I took the Green to the Blue, and went Downtown Hopped on a bus at Metro Center, going the long way around Quickly with my bags, hopping towards Bel-Air
I pulled up to the house about 11 or 12 The bus was slow, traffic on the 101 Open the door Get on the floor Everybody walk the dinosaur |
