so like for example:
table = require(script.ModuleScript) table.insert(table,"swag")
and if inside the modulescript there was:
table = {}
return table
it would become:
table = {"swag"}
return table |

As far as I am aware, once you require() it is no longer as mutable, afaik (*afaik is a technical term!*)

| The require() method returns a copy of the table, not the table itself. So no. |
