| We're going to get our asses whooped. It's not even going to be pretty. Arkansas State will score a TD every 100 seconds. This was the best motherf**king chance to actually not only be bowl eligible but seal our ticket for a bowl but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Dennis Franchione chooses to make a stupid play call for the 1,000,000,000th time this season. I'm not even sure we can beat Georgia State this year. They did better against Louisiana-Lafayette than we did. |

Yeah we definitely aren't going to beat Georgia State this year they're a much better team than Texas State anyway
I can't wait for the post-Franchione era |

This is sad Texas State outplays opponents for two weeks in a row and still loses I don't even have any faith in this team anymore 5-7, back to the drawing board |

It's not. I'll bet you my life Texas State is going to lose out the rest of the season while getting blown out by Arkansas State and Georgia State
And what's sad is Franchione won't be fired too |

| It's a building a program. Teams don't get good in 3 years. They'll come along, don't worry. |

Even if we beat Georgia State, we're not going bowling. 6-6 Sun Belt teams don't get bowl bids even if there's enough spots. I'm sure the committee of the Doritos Taquitos Bowl is going to BEG to the NCAA to take a (ineligible unless not enough bowl-eligible teams) (probably) 9-3 Georgia Southern team over a 6-6 Sun Belt team.
We were at the 2-yard line with 5 seconds and we could've won and gone bowling. We statistically outmatched South Alabama. We should have won.
We're going to lose to Georgia State. I'm sure we are.
And Texas State is never going to make a bowl ever in the future. The Sun Belt is always seen as the worst (teams like the Bobcats don't help its case) and for good reason. It only gets 3 bowl bids even though 5-6 teams in the conference generally end up bowl eligible. |

Georgia Southern is already ready for the AAC RIGHT NOW dude, in fact they're on track for even ACC football in 5 years or so (par good recruiting classes and good coaching).
South Alabama came to the FBS level the same year Texas State did and they're going bowling, not us.
Even Old Dominion is closer to success than Texas State. |

@Prae The only thing Texas State's ever accomplished ever in their football program was 2 national championships in D-II back in the 1980s. In FCS, Texas State was always a mediocre program and they only went up to FBS because of a growing student population. I'm a fan of Texas State because my dad went there (as well as UT), my aunt goes there, and a cousin went there. They're also a local school that I think has a really interesting program but I don't see them making any change ever. Only in NCAA Football 14. |

| Meh. You could be like Oregon, Baylor or FSU and come out of no where, get a big recruiting class, go to a decent bowl and get a boost from there. |

https://twitter.com/smdrjoe/status/533832688138846209 I mean, this is the way I'm thinking right now, and if only I could add a tweet (in fact, a series of tweets) like this: https://twitter.com/Landan_Kuhlmann/status/533847709707280385
and this is why I hate being a fan of a party school

You don't get a top-50 recruiting class being in the Sun Belt In fact, I don't even think you get a top-75 recruiting class Even if you're deep in the heart of Texas |

| Texas State would be best going independent for a few years to build their program. |

I'd rather be part of a conference than being independent I want Texas State to be in the AAC, where it's competitive but not as hard as a conference like the Big 12. |
