I really want a job, and have had one summer job already. I wanna make money, so I can just have something in my savings. I would only be able to work part-time on the weekends, and am hoping that someone on OT was in the same spot as me.
What chains do you think would hire me? |

| Anything else? I know what type of people work there, don't wanna associate with them but if that is my only choice then I may do it. I was thinking of applying to Jamba Juice since I am very close to one, and they hire 16 y/o's. |

remember how little job security is at fast food places, though you're so expendable over there and with only being paid 7/hour it's probably not worth it
either go into business with yourself and some others (my friend easily makes 15/hour after expenses with his grass cutting business) or work for a local store or supermarket |

| I know, but I want to save every single penny I can get or make. I am preparing for college, and want to attend law school to become a lawyer. My parents won't be able to support me financially with tuition costs, so it is my duty to do it myself. I am planning to work for a couple of months and rack up a nice amount because I want to start currency trading, I've already done a little but don't have enough to start out. |

| I would mow lawns, and do unskilled labor but I am in a very big city and there are no homes here. It is tall buildings, and pavement. |

| You could go around and find local shops and businesses looking for some help. |

| Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy's, Carl's Junior, KFC and Subway. Though there are probably more. |

| I will consider those chains but my concern is that I don't want to have to deal with the people working at those franchises. I think you guys know what I mean - these people are trouble. Primarily at KFC and McDonalds in particular. I may see if 7-Eleven hires someone who is 16. |

"how about tutoring if you're smart?"
this is what i do, and you make a ton more cash at it than you would working at a fast food joint
i charge 20 per hour session, and i have 5-6 people that i help over the course of the week, easily making over 200 a week |

| Also about tutoring- it could definitely be something to consider. I am terrible at math and science, but I am pretty good when it comes to US History/Global History/general Social Studies. I wouldn't be able to tutor at my school though, because I know one of the teachers already tutors kids in those history subjects and I don't wanna take that away from him. |

| Also I may consider calling up local businesses and seeing what happens. Also @zac; what do you tutor? And how'd you find clients? |
