You made some very persuasive statements. Let me tell you what the Supreme Court is really whining about,
First off, they cannot ban an amendment. As soon as this passes, the PEOPLE will then be able to elect who they want running their country across all three branches.
The PEOPLE will have the power to determine who is doing their job. The PEOPLE should have more of a say in our government, which is why I have written bills to do the following;
All Constitutional Amendments will require the PEOPLE to agree to become an amendment to our Constitution.
The PEOPLE will elect their judicial branch leaders.
As a quote attributed to Thomas Jefferson once said,
"When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny."
It is time our politicians fear the PEOPLE. It is time our citizens show who really runs this government, them. Which is why I am doing everything in my power to aid this quest.
I'd also like to note, this is how most states run their Supreme Court. Elections. The Supreme Court simply opposes this because it threatens their power and their time they can spend in their rank.
In the words of Supreme Court Nominee RyanRevan describing the American people,
[9:35:22 PM] RyanRevan: Not trustable to run the entire government. [9:25:47 PM] RyanRevan: I think they shouldn't be trusted with the running of the entire government. [9:18:03 PM] RyanRevan: They don't when they arent qualified.
All this does, is give power to the People. I am ashamed our Supreme Court is so opposed to something that just lets our citizens decide their leadership. Is this not a democracy? Is a democracy not where you elect your leaders?
This is being passed in an order so that the People will get to vote on this amendment. The People will get a voice. The People will no longer be oppressed by our government! De oppresso liber! Free the Oppressed!

"the PEOPLE will then be able to elect who they want running their country across all three branches." The citizens do not elect Supreme Court Justices. You try to get this country to be more fake than it already is. Stop talking about the people you don't represent.

It's an amendment, it changes the Constitution. The only phase it changes is the President appointing. Most states have already made this change. Ohio and Alabama work in this fashion.

In reality, I don't believe that the people should be charged with running the entire Federal Government.
However, I believe that what is best for the PEOPLE should be the main priority of the Government.
This act would destroy, or at the least inhibit, the Judiciary from working in a unbias manner. If you have to make a popular choice, and get re-elected, or a not popular, but legally correct choice, and not get re-elected, what would you choose?
I suggest, however, the Congressional Committe on the Judiciary to investigate Judges and Justices, and if they find undue or improper behaviour among them, to punish accordingly.
tl;dr I think the people shouldn't be tasked with running the government & this act would remove unbias judges/justices |

Excerpt from the Washington Post,
Chris W. Bonneau’s defense of judicial elections [“A bum rap on elected judges,” Washington Forum, May 27] skipped over important data suggesting that justice could be for sale. State supreme court candidates raised more than $206 million in the past decade, shattering records in 20 states. Much of this money came from lawyers and interest groups who appear before these candidates in court. Three in four Americans, most business leaders and nearly half of judges themselves believe that campaign cash is affecting courtroom decisions.
Meaning, the ROBLOX equivalent would be votes for preference in the courtroom. That's a very bad thing, meaning our judiciary will go from unbias to bias in a single election. |

@ryan Horrible.
If the people should not handle the government, there will be even MORE BIAS, not less. That's why there is a jury, to eliminate bias.
People should be able to handle the government, because it belongs to them.

The Supreme Court is not the leaders of the people, the Supreme Court only rule in court cases and on laws.
No, the Supreme Court should not be elected, because the founding fathers thought that it was very important to have one branch of the government not be beholden to the whims of popular culture. If a Justice has to stand for reelection, they will be more likely to vote how the people want him or her too, rather than what they think the constitution really says. |

As Ryan puts it, the Supreme Court should not rule for the People of the nation.

| In my opinion, many people wiser and fairer then us have decided to keep the Supreme Court appointment based. While the SC on ROBLOX is very broken, no one attests to that, there are other steps that should be taken. |

The Supreme Court shouldn't rule for the people, it should rule ONLY for the Law and the Constitution.
That's the entire point. |
