Problem: You know those hats that don't fit! Man, they look great, but they just don't fit! Especially, with that nice hair you want to wear. What could Roblox do about this?
Solution: Allow Roblox users to c-frame and resize hats!
-In Detail-
The c-framing and resizing would have a limit, so you can't just make a huge hat troll people or have a hat that looks to be 100 studs above you.
These features wouldn't be limited to just whole numbers. You could make it exactly how you want it without any scale. (I'm sorry I forget the correct word for this.)
Some hats might not be compatible with this feature. Although, I think a lot should be.
TL;DR: This ain't that long. Get Siri to read it to you if you're that lazy. But that's none of my business... |

Um deal with your hat that doesn't fit, looks are not core gameplay here at roblox.
You live in a BOX Your life IS A BOX you will never get out of the BOX so long as you refuse to accept the existence of anything BUT THE BOX. |

Support. This has been suggested several times previously.
Don't see how this would even remotely cause lag, seeing as you can have gigantic meshes in a game without lag, and there's a limit to how big the hats can be with this suggestion.
The way this could properly be done is through taking advantage of the Attachment properties of the Hat class, as well as the Hat's Mesh scale.
This would mean being able to configure the properties mentioned above using a 3D editor on the website to move, rotate, or resize the hat on an axis. Of course, to prevent absurd hat positions or sizes (0, 0, 10000, for example), setting a limit to the values of the position and scale of the hat would be essential.
There should be both a basic and advanced editor, the basic one being the simple click-and-drag 3D editor, the advanced one allowing you to manually set the values of the hat using a 2D interface.
TL;DR for this post: Definite support. |

| @zombie It wouldn't cause lag because hats are made up of meshes and meshes count as one brick |

| @glac Although, I'll agree graphics and accessories don't make a game..I won't agree with your statement...Roblox is supposed to have creativity..if we can't style our Roblox the way we want what's the point of even having clothes, etc, we might as well just all look the same. What would be the creativity in that? |

@eat Ima just ignore you...
@rintaro Thank you for the support, and the way you elaborated off of my idea. That's what the S&I forum is for! I really like the simple and advanced ways in using this feature btw. |

| Maybe you could set the positioning of the hat mesh in game (or even just on the website but that would probably cause some lag - maybe) but it must be touching the mesh of the player's head and (maybe - if you could resize it) there would be a limit to the amount you resize it on each axis NOT dependent upon how big it is already. |

| LittleL0L - He's not talking about using the default head. There are many hats that don't really fit the default character head properly because they weren't positioned correctly (for lack of a better statement). |

@the two above
Well, it's true. Just saying this update would be too much work and therefore be abused. |

| If it were up to me we actually all would look the same. ODing would be gone, and everyone would be happy. |

@little this update would help thousandsof users that experience this problem when deciding on a look..and it wouldn't be that much work...
@epic I disagree that everyone would be happy. Remember what happened with the price floor. Also...it might remove some Od'ing but it wouldn't remove all of it. Some pre-mature kids have their mind of their own... |
