| Do volunteer work first. It's good to put on a résumé. |

| Not only is volunteer work good for a resume, it often leads to a job where you volunteer. |

that didn't make any sense
i said that a lot of times places use volunteer work to see what your work ethic is like and if you do well enough they'll hire you

You're looking in the wrong places.
The best jobs are the real obscure places not everyone thinks about. |

You don't need to volunteer to get a job lmao... Places that pay minimum wage don't care for volunteer work. As they also do not care for a resume.
Don't waste your time working for free. |

there are exactly 0 paid vacancies i found so far ZERO!!!!! i am depressed. also i am 16 so employers will be even more reluctant to hire me because i have ZERO experience in anything!!!!!! all i have are a few odd jobs to do with IT (only two! i made modifications to a website and set up a laptop for someone and i got paid for both! that is not experience!!!) |

Entry level jobs are called Entry level for a reason. Experience doesn't matter.
The reason you're not getting callbacks is because you're a minor, which is a huge headache for employers.
I didn't get a *real* job till I turned 18.
I just sold stuff. Questionably legal stuff, but stuff none the less.
Anyway, getting a job at 16 is pretty useless. Id wait till I was at least 17 so I could get a retail job. |
