| Remember when you went to the store and had to look at the back of the game, and when you get home and waited 10 years to install, just to find out you wasted your money on a game called pacific storm? |

I remember when I went to the store, bought a game, played it, didn't like it, took it back, and traded it for another game for equal or lesser value.

| I prefer downloading due to the fact that discs can easily break. |

@Cat They'll only break if you don't take care of them seriously, it's not easy to break a disc unless you're actually trying to break one

| Also, I got tired of getting Sims 3 discs from Wal-Mart and finding out the discs are way behind in game patches, and updating them isn't possible due to the progress meter never going up. |

| I still don't download my games. There's something about having a game in a box that I like better. |

Yeah, but when I started there were not any downloads, at least on console games.
I started playing games in 1999/2000, btw. |

Not for me it isn't. For the next two years at least, I will be getting disc for my consoles and not playing much PC until I get better internet here.

"You are all to young to understand" I'm 16 and I remember buying all the game discs. They were fun as a kid, but now that I'm older I like downloading much better because of how convenient it is.

| I do prefer having physical copies of my games as well, but I do agree that it's more practical to download them. Doesn't mean I will, though. |

It's funny because I prefer physical copies of CDs for albums I like, but with video games I don't.

It doesn't take that log to install.. Plus when it reachs like 13 or 20 you can play and it will keep installing in the background |

Bwahahhaa. I'm probably the oldest regular poster.
I don't care which, as long as I enjoy the game. |
