Hey so I am a scripter here on roblox, but most of the time I am on my Mobile device. I think it would be really really really (x20) cool if roblox made or added to their mobile app a way that mobile users can script, and then save that script as a model. Maybe they can also test the script in one of their games or something.
Support??!

| SprocketSoldier, it's better than nothing. You could probably find a Lua compiler for iOS and Android alike, and if you for some reason can't and you really "need" one, then build one yourself. |

| There is a reason why Roblox hasn't created a Lua compiler for Roblox, and the most likely reason is that it is inconvenient to script on a mobile device. |

| It's not inconvenient. What if you want to make script models for a game or something ahead of time? And again someome can't just create their own, because again, you wouldn't be able to upload it to a model...which is the whole idea. |

| SprocketSoldier, it obviously isn't the whole idea because first of all, you wanted to script on a mobile device, any plain Lua compiler has an output window, and you are bound to find one on the App Store or Google Play. |

| And as a programmer myself, (I primarily program in C# and C++), I have a good reason to think that typing long scripts in mobile devices is very inconvenient. |

Well your one person, aren't you?
And again..it obviously is a primary reason because I can program in notes if I wanted, >STILL CANNOT UPLOAD
It's okay, we tend to understand things at different times. |

| SprocketSoldier, your first stated that you wanted to program on a mobile device, you can, you just can't upload your scripts, but when will you ever need to upload a script on the go? |

| Also, you are just one person as well, one person who stated that they want this as an app. |

| Whether this is a good idea or not is beyond me because I don't use Lua, but I'd say a better solution is Studio for mobile. |

1. You can't really tell me what I stated first because i stated both of them in one sentence.
2. My idea is 10x more likely being enforced than yours. I have a hard time believing that any mobile device has the ability to run it, considering the fact that some computers cannot. |

| And yes I'm one person too, but I'm not going around saying it's "inconvenient". Lol who are you speaking for? |

"You can't really tell me what I stated first because i stated both of them in one sentence." The whole sentence pretty much summed up to being you wanting to script on a mobile device.
"2. My idea is 10x more likely being enforced than yours. I have a hard time believing that any mobile device has the ability to run it, considering the fact that some computers cannot." A "Roblox Developer" app is already available on the App Store.
"And yes I'm one person too, but I'm not going around saying it's "inconvenient". Lol who are you speaking for?" Everyone who doesn't enjoy using small keyboards to type large things, which is a fairly large demographic. |

"A roblox developer app is in App Store"
Yeah, if you actually put up the tkme to check it out, it's only used to TEST your game on a mobile device, which you have to link to a computer. You cannot build from it. |

Why would you want to script when you could have some fun with your tablet on-the-go?
Anyways, just because you're on mobile most of the time dosen't mean everyone is. ROBLOX only take suggestions that the entire ROBLOX need, and this is not required to improved ROBLOX other than you taking advantage about it.

| Lol that is 100% untrue. I'm sure roblox accepts suggestions for anything that can improve their game. So don't come raining down on my party if you don't know something. |
