| I need help. Let's say you click on a TextButton, I want the CurrentCamera's CameraSubject to focus on Brick1. Then, when you click on another button, the CameraSubject would be Brick2. |

Right now, whenever a player joins, this happens:
local pos = game.Workspace:FindFirstChild("player").Head.Position local cam = game.Workspace.CurrentCamera wait(1) --if this wait isn't here, it won't work. Why? cam.CameraSubject = tri cam.CoordinateFrame = CFrame.new(pos) wait() --Same here. cam.CameraType = "Scriptable"
So, that works fine and dandy. But, when I try to change the CameraSubject with
wait(1) cam.CameraSubject = trileft
Now, that keeps the Camera's position, but makes it look off into some random direction, the same direction if those waits weren't there. Why's that? |

respond pls. I'm about ready to give up scripting and Roblox and life in general, scripting cameras is so frustrating. |

| No, I have this game planned where the player has a fixed camera, and moving the mouse to the left of the screen or the right of the screen would move the camera(focus the camerasubject on a part to the left or right). |

You don't want to change the camera subject You want to change the coordinateframe and focus of the camera to the parts' positions |

solorBoat, it sounds like you need to learn the Interpolate method. It's very useful to create cutscenes.
Almost like Tweening with Gui's but sightly different... |

@Designer At this point I don't even want it transitioning to the position (like tweening does), I just need it to instantly be looking there. |

This sounds like a FNAF game.
I hold you up. |

| It's not. The only things it has in common with FNAF is the way you look left and right by moving your mouse to the far left or far right of the screen, and that it's a horror game. |

| Well, it seems camera manipulation is impossible for me at the moment. I'll try again tomorrow, bye. |
