-Story-
It was three centuries ago that we found out something about an overwhelming number of our planets. They were not planets at all. At least, not natural planets.
We had discovered the ruins of an alien civilization during human expansion in the galaxy, and soon we realized that these ruins went deep underground. We had discovered what we call a Titan. A man-made planet created by a race we label as the God-Smiths.
The God-Smiths had built Titans all over the Milky Way, and possibly in other galaxies as well. Immediately we realized we had opportunities all over. We began to sift through the ashes of the Titans' creators to learn how to build our own habitable planets, to advance to where no man had thought possible within a century, maybe even shorter.
We had decided to send you and a group of others to what seems to be a capital city on the Titan Helios. We hadn't known that by doing that we made our most tragic mistake on the road of progress.
-Locations-
Helios - The Titan is the most unique yet. Like all the others, Helios seems to be largely housing, but many have argued likewise, considering it's odd architecture, odd due to it having signs of the God-Smiths, but not built at all like how they usually do. Helios also seems to have been built in a world-wide jungle theme. Most of the ruins have been covered in plants and vines. They seem to grow at a rate that it seems like the God-Smiths wanted Helios to be buried and hidden in all of the green. Life has also formed on it. All of it is extremely dangerous, and oddly carnivorous. We wouldn't have been able to get past the vines if it weren't for us placing genetically-altered herbivores to create a balance ecology. It's a miracle the life survived as it did.
Helios Zero - A recently discovered city. Speculation suggests that it is the capital city of the Titan. Helios Zero has several skyscrapers, runs rampant with flying lizards we've nicknamed Dragons after our own mythology, and seems to be build around a massive pit. The pit in and of itself is a mystery. It's smooth and concrete like a side walk, but seems to stretch around 10 miles from one side to the other, and exists as a perfect square. It it a mishap we missed it until now. The city also seems to have been built in districts.
Watcher H-0 - The research camp (Which we label as an unofficial district) we built to excavate the ruins. This is where you'll be dropped off at.
The Arms District - This district is odd in that it seems to contain ancient guns and cannons from the days that the God-Smiths existed. It's of particular interest due to us never before having seen a God-Smith weapon. But alas, all of the weaponry in the District is old and doesn't work anymore. All we can do is study.
The Housing District - This district contains the housing that the God-Smiths had used when they still lived on Helios. Most of the furniture is old, rotten, and decaying, but occasionally we encounter something worthwhile. For some reason, the God-Smiths' items last an unusually long time, even if there it no one to take care of them.
The Grave District - Also referred to as Niflheim, this place, as you can guess it, contains crypts and graves of dead God-Smiths. While the bodies have decayed beyond examination, we can still use traces of DNA to one day build a model of what a living God-Smith looked like, and gain a better understanding of their race.
The Dragon District - Not much is known about this final district of Helios Zero. It's a dragon nest and all who have attempted to excavate were munched on to death.
-Rules-
If you don't know me, well then you don't know one thing about me and rules.
I don't like to list what you already should know. No Romance, No Cussing, these are all things you should know. Don't be an idiot.
-Notice-
This is one of those RPs where you post an action and I post the reaction. If you don't like it, get out.
PvP, if any, will be handled by a dice role.

| Minor complaint, but the whole "Titan" thing, reminds me a lot of the Promethus ruins Mass Effect. A long lost race that built a number of artifacts all over the world that allow the Human race to advance at a remarkable pace? (I think there was a similar plot point in 2001 A Space Odyssey as well.) |

I can kind of see what you're coming at Mage, but frankly it's false. You see, the Titans haven't yet jumped the technology, and it won't be instantaneous like the Prothean technology. Not only that, but the God-Smiths didn't disappear all of a sudden and with no explanation. I didn't post it onto the story due to irrelevance, but the God-Smiths were all wiped out by a plague brought from some planet that remained dormant for a decade until it struck, spreading to 90% of the population and killing off the remaining 10% as the virus got worst and worst.
Finally, I named them Titans because I sat at my desk and I wondered what I should call a massive man-made planet. I thought the word massive, and I decided Titan. It was a done deal. Deal with it. |

| What about a guy as he is an excellent soldier, with natural instincts and is pretty tactical. |

Name: Aurus Corve Gender: Male Physical Appearance: Tall, about 6' 3", with a lithe but muscular build, pale skinned, with black hair, though he dyed strips of it when he was slightly younger to a shade of Crimson. He has gold eyes. Clothing: A t-shirt and jeans when he can, with sneakers. Bio (Yes, it's necessary. Even if it's only a few short sentences of a guy with no past, please just put something. And no TBA.): Aurus was born with a slight eye mutation. It was slight enough that his parents didn't find out until he was three. Yeah. A long time. He's always been interested in dragons, even now, at 19. He signed up for this because he just wanted to..well, explore, in a sense. Field of Study: Dragons and weaponry. Mainly dragons.
(Sorry. I have a writers block right now.) |

| Seems good, might wanna bump up that age a bit though. I highly doubt that they'd send someone to study on such an important expedition without a Masters, at least, in hand, and they don't don't give those to 19 year olds. |

Name: Maximilian Francus "Max" Gender: Male Age: 32 Physical Appearance: Max towers at 5'11 just shy of six feet, well-muscled due to preparing his body for expeditions such as these, though this is the biggest one he has done yet. Has a "Soldier's cut" with has brown hair. Having eyes that were the black-flecked deep brown of pecan shells. With sharp features in his face, some may view him as handsome, but his lack of personality drives them away. Clothing: Standard military armor (I do not know what it loks like in that age so..) When roaming the ship he wears a white jacket with a black tee underneath, and white cargo pants. Bio (Yes, it's necessary. Even if it's only a few short sentences of a guy with no past, please just put something. And no TBA.): Max was born to a military family, to a pushing father always berating him to shape Max into the perfect soldier, and a mother who was nearly as tough as his father. His childhood was sacrificed to the rough trainings, teaching him that he was not in his parents' view a son, but a future soldier. Eventually he adapted to this and became pretty expressionless, and did the things instructed to the best he can do. After schooling, Max joined the military for awhile, excelling in all forms of combat and proving he was pretty much the "perfect" soldier. One of his higher ranks told him of the expeditions of the Titans and offered him a role as a guard. Despite his parent's protest he joined and went on a few expeditions. Coming back his parents basically cut off contact with him, although it doesn't affect Max much at all as he is busy all the time. This expedition is supposed to be his last. Field of Study: Expedition Guard being well-trained with numerous weaponry, and capable to adapting to most situations. His job is to protect the expeditioners with his life, and will do so. |

Name: Gender: Male Physical Appearance: Stands at about 5'11". He has a bulky build, and looks like he can benchpress ~350. He has dark, long hair, and has multiple scars across his body from years of physical abuse. He likes to wear his hair in a loose ponytail to keep it from going into his face. Clothing: He wears a dark blue robe, and under it is a icy-blue T-shirt.* Bio (Yes, it's necessary. Even if it's only a few short sentences of a guy with no past, please just put something. And no TBA.): He spent most of his life being abused by his parents, he holds a special hatred for them because of it. Whenever he gets into a brawl, people say he mutter's his parents' names before nearly beating his enemy to death. Field of Study: Chemical Engineering and Metalworking
I'm just voicing my opinion, it's bound to get me a few haters. |

Aight, you be accepted.
Just need a few more folks before we begin. And yes, I'll still be accepting CSes up to a certain point for anyone who's curious. I'll announce when there will be no more CSes. |

Name: Grayson Williams.
Gender: Male
[Figured you'd want an age]Age: 31
Physical Appearance: Grayson is a wild looking man, with hair that can never seem to quite be put into proper order, either sticking up in odd places or just being a mess. It's color is black, though bits of gray can be seen in it. His facial hair consists of a surprisingly neat goatee, also filled with bits of gray. He stands at a height of nearly 5'7. This small height generally is accompanied with a slouch of some sort, making him appear even shorter. He has a surprisingly nice look about him, maybe a gentleness in his eyes, or an ease in his smile. Whatever it is, he has a sort of relaxing feel.
Clothing: Grayson wears a lab coat at all times, mostly due to a childish sense of style that he never outgrew. Beneath it he wears a blue or white t-shirt, depending on what he plans to do. Typically, he wears some slacks though may put on khakis if he feels like it. He generally wears boots out into the field, otherwise he'll wear more his sneakers.
Bio: Grayson was first inspired to go within the medical field as a child, when his mother would take him to the hospital to visit recovering patients. While at the time he didn't understand why, it surely had an effect on him, to see people brighten up and smile to have visitors while they recover. He went into the field of injuries to look for ways to have that happen again, but soon realized how naïve that was, switching his studies away from injury treatments over to focus on diseases and how to treat them. While it was less fulfilling, this branching of study was perhaps the reason he was chosen as one of the medical experts for the team. As he is equipped to notice and treat most diseases, along with take care of some injuries, it was decided he would make an excellent addition to help out. No one is quite sure why he came along, though for some reason he gave up his job at a hospital, to come all the way over here. Field of Study: Studies within the medical field, primary studies on things such as diseases and their treatments. Minor studies within the field of injuries. [Can't be expected to successfully do something like remove a bullet inches away from a heart, but can be relied on for the easier tasks, such as properly setting a broken bone, and monitoring it to get it to heal correctly.] |

Didn't bother to ask for it. Age has always been a boring number to me. I will intervene if they make an age that makes no sense, but else wise, I don't care. I just put in an idea that they are old enough to have at least a master's degree from college. Other wise, why do I need it?
Now, accepted, but if you maintain on having a set age, raise it up. People don't get greys at 31. |
