I want a game where there is no goal. The goal is to build your character up the way you want. There would be no "Goal" as in kill the bad guy leader, for example you could join the army, or you could try to be king. It doesnt matter. It would be like live But set back in like skyrim age or something |

| I actually do. Open world is where you can basically do anything linear is when you move from one stage to another, for example call of duty, or metro 2033. Then there's open ended which is like a hybrid of linear and open world, like mass effect. |

| I like games with stories ('cause that's what I play games for. Same reason why I read books.), and I like having the option to just take a break and play a minigame. That's why I liked the Mass Effect 3 citadel DLC so much, that's why I enjoy GTA so much. 'cause it gives you the feeling of choice, the feeling of saying "F*ck this mission, and f*ck you Dragovich, I'm gonna play darts". |

I sort of agree with you... Although, I would want the game to have a storyline. Possibly a storyline and another mode where it's a true free roam like what you mentioned. |

of course it would have a story line
it just wouldnt be surrounded by you
for example in skyrim, a dragon only attacks when ur there, and ur the dragon born
but in this game theres no hero, but a dragon might attack, it might not. if you play your cards right you could end up saving ur game by killing the king dragon, but you wouldn't need to be special, and you wouldnt have to do it, it would be optional, or for example if you play your cards right you could be king or something. |

| No, it's not really open world, open world is where you can go anywhere you want at any time |

"No, it's not really open world, open world is where you can go anywhere you want at any time"
except you CAN go anywhere you want at any time
you simply have to be capable of getting there |

| You do realize that open world games don't force you to play the storyline- the most fun part about them is exploring. |
