I am writing this because I feel like people saw S4 Toronto Wildcats way differently than what really went down. I am also writing this because I think it is now time for people to know how I really got screwed over that season. Im not here to expose anyone, so I wont tell you all of Toronto's darkest secrets and such, but I will tell you the truth and what really went down inside the team.

--PRESEASON--
When I was first awarded the team in S4, I immediately got to work. Any owner knows that the first player you target and recruit is always a QB. I narrowed down all my options to two QBs; Duncan and Lick (your going to hear a lot of him and how he screwed me over in this article). Duncan was arguably the best QB on the market at the time, but due to Lick's popularity and recruiting skills within the football community, I stopped pushing for Duncan and set my eyes on Lick instead (Jeez, imagine if Duncan went to Toronto...). It was only a matter of hours before I had Lick locked on to coming to Toronto. Within the first few days of him announcing his commitment to Toronto, he strung together a plethora of top rated players to come along, including Markel (now a good friend of mine) and Ageman (yet another person who screwed me over in S4... more on this in a minute). This was the only moment in Toronto's short history where the team actually enjoyed where they were at. Toronto's preseason was complete a couple weeks later with the team looking top notch, and we rolled into the regular season.

--REGULAR SEASON--
This is where a lot of this story line took place. Toronto came out firing at the start of the season, winning the first 5 games of the season. Sadly, winning is always a great thing for your team, because within that 5 game span, I had lost all chemistry with my backups and bench players. The sad part about this was that I never really managed the substitutions in Toronto until later on in the season, because for those first 5 games I had Lick managing who he wanted on the field and such. This is the first part of how Lick screwed me over; he started turning more than half the team against me in the middle of the season. After those first 5 games, we started losing games. Toronto's first two losses lead me to personally take charge of substitutions (but our bench players stopped showing up after the first few games because Lick would never play them), move Lick to WR instead of QB (which fueled his fire and hate towards me and Toronto), and sign a highly-recruited QB named Doc. Keep in mind, while this took place, we had already passed the sign/cut deadline, so Lick was basically stuck with Toronto the whole season, and I was stuck managing a team half against me because of his attitude and coaching during the first half of the season. We managed to win a couple more games that season before finishing just slightly above .500 and making it into the playoffs.

--PLAYOFFS--
Starting out the playoffs, we had the whole league against us. I think pretty much every viewed Toronto as a bunch of ignorant superstars who couldn't get it together and win (because we had finished the season on a losing streak), however this was just a reflection of what was actually going on inside the Toronto locker room. Im pretty sure that this was also the start of Lick's grand master idea of destroying Toronto. According to what people have told me about that time, Lick had addressed many of the players who were actually still supportive of me as an owner trying to get them to turn against me, among these people who fell into Lick's trap was Ageman84 (the biggest ring hunting idiot in the RFL today, for the record lol). Im not quite sure what he was planning to do, but I think he was never given a proper chance to carry through with it during our playoff game, which made him furious, and wait until you hear what happened next.

--BLOXXER BOWL--
About a week before the actual Bloxxer Bowl, our main QB Doc had quit Roblox and we had resorted to putting Lick in the starting spot for the BB. However, if you were at the Bloxxer Bowl you would have noticed that Lick never showed up to it (basically the point where he screwed me over big time). Lick never showed up to the Bloxxer Bowl in S4 because of 2 reasons: 1) He was furious with me and Toronto after what had happened in the playoffs and regular season, 2) He knew he couldn't have beaten PV in the Bloxxer Bowl, and he didn't want to be responsible for being the reason Toronto couldn't win the championship game. Also keep in mind here, this would've been Lick's "Last game" before he "retired", I think another reason he didn't show up is because he didn't want his last game to be horrible (we were facing a pretty hard team). So during the BB, it was only me, Markel (a great dude who stood with me the whole season despite pressure from Lick), and a couple of bench players that I got on the right foot with later on in the season. Despite a near comeback with our 3rd stringers, we were unable to win the championship; thus ending the season and concluding my story about how I was screwed over in S4.

I guess the whole moral of the story is that you should never trust anyone, because in the end we are all out here to get our own and all of us are aiming for our own gains, some more than others. Hopefully, by reading this, you understand the true story behind Toronto and how I got screwed over in S4.
