Okay so before I work on the wild Pokemon system, I want to list my ideas and have you guys decide (and justify) which idea I should use. There are two categories; Overworld and In-Grass. Help me by picking which category, an option and pick the best ideas below that option. You can also reply with your own ideas.
[Overworld:] - You are teleported into a battle arena when you touch a wild Pokemon. - The amount of wilds that spawn around you will depend on how many Pokemon and players are on the server
Options: 1. Pokemon spawn as the player walks; they are able to be touched by anyone on the server. 2. Pokemon spawn as the player walks but they won't be seen by anyone else on the server.
Ideas: 1. Pokemon remain stationary when they spawn (lag free!!!) 2. Certain Pokemon react based on their nature when approached (ie. run away, attack, chase) 3. Pokemon move around (laggy)
Issues: - Not many Pokemon will spawn around you on a large server (unless doing option 2) - Difficult to implement lol - Will be laggier than grass - In theory, rare Pokemon will be rarer; thus so will shinies - Spawns MIGHT be laggy - Some wilds may disappear in front of your eyes to make room for new ones
[In-Grass:] - You are randomly teleported into a battle arena as you walk through tall grass. ... Yeah, grass is the same thing as Pokemon Adventures LOL

Overworld- Options: 2 Ideas: 1 and 2 ALSO we need random pokemon asking to join your team (pokeball is needed in hand and this can be turned off if wanted) (this would be like when pokemon like Ash's squirtle joined him and you said it would be more like the anime or/and you could make it so you have to say the right thing like in the pizza game where you asked yourself to marry yourself lel) |

| Btw, you should make it so You have to either click a pokemon or walk to a pokemon to challenge it. Or you can throw a pokeball without battling and catch it and if you fail, you battle. |

| Touching is better because what if it's a tiny little Rattata... you won't even be able to battle it if you had to click it!! |

| I could go either way. Overworld is cool and realistic and nothing we've never seen before, but there are plenty of flaws. Grass and traditional and but won't really add much to scenery as Overworld. I hope this provides some feedback. |

Overworld Option: 1 (Makes it more realistic and allows you to help other people search for Pokemon) Idea: 1, 2 (Stationary is good bcs it prevents lag, but the 'Natures' idea sounds really interesting) |

| Overworld option 2 with ideas 1 and 2? I like it. I'm not too picky in what you choose to do. However, my preference would be the coolest unique thing that has little lag at most. I'm certainly fine with the idea of some pokemon being still while some pokemon react a little differently if its needed to reduce lag. |

I prefer grass :P I don't like overworld cause what if you saw a rare pokemon ex.Steelix then you try to go towards it then some people saw it too then its a race how are you suppose to get it naw D: |

Keep this simple please :\. If you go with option 1 for "overworld", I have a feeling that everyone will just snatch away a rare/shiny pokemon from other people. If you go with option 2 for "overworld", it's not bad but there wouldn't be much difference from grass then.
If you go with idea 1 for "overworld", it wouldn't look realistic at all. Like srsly, immobile pokemon??? If you go with idea 2 for "overworld", many players will be annoyed for example. The pokemon you want with the nature that you want, and that "timid" nature pokemon will just keep on running away from you. If you go with idea 3 for "overworld", it would be laggy and combining with option 1 of "overworld" category. I think people with bad computer wouldn't be able to play this game at all. |

Option 2 seems better since people won't see the Pokemon you wanna go after, but the downside is that you can't help others find a Pokemon. Oh well, at least there's a less chance of a nub running up to your shiny and snatching it... Unless they can just interrupt your battle |

| I you choose overworld, I suggest option and idea 2 for it. However, impoving the grass spawning can make the process of building much easier. If you do grassworld, just jazz it up a little. |

I like option 2 because others won't be able to steal your wild pokemons :D
When you say "The amount of wilds that spawn around you will depend on how many Pokemon and players are on the server", does it means that the more players the more pokemon or the opposite?
