I'm trying to think of a way to use motors as servos to move the joints of a robotic arm, reference "Fanuc M-900iB/700" to see what im looking at.
It uses servos ("motors") to move its joints on its six axis. |

"six axis" I'm not positive, but I think it should be "six axes". |

Amazing. Does anyone have any ideas to put forth on this?
BodyGyro would probably be more stable as an application, but just for S&G i'd like to see if motors have even got the GUTS to do this kind of work! |

You Could Make A Script That Runs The Motors Then When The Reach Where You Want Them To Be Then Stop Them... (if you wanted to move the robot with motor you out of luck But you can make a player then has a custom animation And Look DUH)
Hope it Helped :) |

| That's basically what a servo is, it runs in one direction until it reaches or passes a point, then if it went too far it goes in reverse. It seems plausible. |

@Shadow I Mean It Will Only Move Joins Not The Robot Itself.... you will need a custom player to do that..but i will take TONS Of time |

roblox motors are hopelessly useless for anything requiring control actuation.
you're better off with Motor6Ds(if you can get away with them not updating physics on sleeping parts), BodyGyros/BodyTorques or CFrame transforms. |

| I know, i was just looking at the concept of using motors to do motor like things, not for animation purposes, but testing. I think motors are probably too weak to perform. |
