Well, they tend to be mad about the Christians shoving their beliefs down people's throat. That there's no god doesn't really concern them. |

''I really meant "its funny when atheists get mad when someone says that there is a god"'' Yes but in that case they get mad about that person. Which is something. Not nothing.
Amirit. |

| As an agnostic atheist, I can tell you that it's not the idea of god that pisses us off, it's the way people use it to attack scientific theory and fact, as well as justifying being anti-LGBT and other horrible beliefs. |

Here I come with my Paganism. Oh noez. But I'm totally pro-science, definitely. I don't believe that religion should play a role in development of mankind. |

Let's say a conspiracy. People believe such conspiracy with nothing to go on. I say it isn't real. Then they say "Well if it isn't real, then you're mad at nothing!"
No, I'm opposing the concept of such an event.
I'm sorry, but this is weak. |

I suppose to call myself spiritual rather than religious. In the end I really don't give a crap what people believe in, aslong as they can accept that their religion isn't ''the truth'' for everybody. |

no, that's why they get mad
you sarcastically refer to God as a 'magic sky fairy' |

"it's not really sarcastic if it's true, is it?"
this is another reason atheists have a bad rap
some of them are so haughty and bigoted, it leaves a sour taste in one's mouth |

hey if some guy came knocking on your door asking you to attend a meeting every week where you worship an invisible giant omnipotent octopus that sits on the moon, you'd call him crazy
what i'm doing is no different |

that's called outreach. he is not condemning you to hell, is he? no. he is offering you an opportunity to attend church, should you want to do so. you can say no (no really, you can!)
what you're doing is approaching Christians with a condescending tone and acting very bigoted and self-righteous
so no, it's not the same |

| I'm atheist myself but I only get mad if someone tries to make me change religions. If they demand I believe in it. |
