Very nice build honestly, but since you asked for criticism I am going to have to give you some input. The seat of the cockpit on the portion you sit has some flashing (where the bricks go back and forth as to which one shows because two bricks occupy the same space) Some things you might want to consider depending on how the finished model is used is will it be difficult to look out the glass window (while your method of making the cockpit glass is unique it impairs viewing from within). Otherwise ridiculously good build, and if you make a a flyable copy of it pm me in the future because I would love to have it. -Cal |

I have made canopies before with Parts with BlockMeshes made very thin, and Wedges with WedgeMeshes made very thin. After I make them fit perfectly I look at the Part's or Wedge's Size, then divide it by .2. I use CmdUtl's Resize Center tool and Resize it down to .2 studs. I then multiply the Scale of the Mesh by the number from step 2.
This makes the part .2 studs x .2 studs (if you do it in both directions). I now add a bunch of parts with Transparency 1 so you can walk over the canopy without falling in.
What this does is allow a player to sit in the cockpit but not have the camera limited to being inside the parts with Transparency .5 (or whatever) so you can zoom out and still see yourself in the cockpit. The camera view is sometimes blocked by the .2x.2x.2 parts, but not very often.
See what I mean in my Bomber place. |

Oh, and very nice job! The biggest complaint I have is the excessive overlap of the outer parts. I can see the 'double-notch' overlap effect at the edge of the Parts. You may want to try using the Resize center tool of CmdUtl on all those parts at the same time and set the amount to .001. If the parts are already at .2 studs then how about adding a BlockMesh to them and reducing the Scale on that? For tapered fuselage parts (basically hollow cones) I have used the TorsoMesh in the parts. You have to increase it's thickness to taper the parts more though. |

Thanks for the input, I am now making big modifications to it, the criticism was helpful from all you guys to help improve it and make it the best that I hope it will be!
Thanks! |

| No problem. When you finish it off try submitting it to EBR. I'm pretty sure this amount of detail in a finished aircraft would get their attention! |
