What is quantum computing? "Quantum" is science fiction, isn't it? Unless that is just a nickname for Cray computers. |

| Quantum physics was created after Max Planck came up with his theory of Quanta. Then, some cool kids such as Albert Einstein and Werner Heisenberg developed it. Quantum computing is basically a computer with qubits instead of bits. Google it. |

| Yes, that was a pretty lame trolling attempt. Quantum physics is the basis of our entire current model of chemistry, while micro- and nanotechnology build upon it significantly. |
