dell is pretty good build quality and decent performance
guy left it out in the rain for a week and the battery was still alive plus the thing still worked

For how much? Personally, if I was you, I'll custom build my own PC. With about 200-300$ saving from labor and better quality.

build ur own
you can put exactly what you need to do exactly what you want in there, upgrade the parts you need to get more out of and get cheaper parts if you don't need something to be as powerful
you'll save money + get a better computer for your needs |

you'd get WAAAY better performance if you built a pc for 800$
as an owner of a "gaming" laptop, do not buy one.
they do NOT compare to a desktop in anyway. |

@Kaamchor. If you know what you're doing, then yes, building you're own is the best solution, mainly for desktops. Overall the G56JK-EB72 has some decent hardware to it. |

I have to agree with the others on HP. My laptop was HP, and the hinges broke, causing parts of the broken hinge to scraped across my motherboard, breaking 70% of the laptops performance. |
