Martin Ødegaard is a 15 year old Norwegian soccer player who is one of the best players in Tippeligaen. The kid is the youngest player to appear in Tippeligaen, for his club, Stromsgodset, he is the youngest player to represent his nation at senior level and he is the youngest player to take to the field in a competitive European championship qualifier.
For months now, he has been being scouted from Europe's grandest clubs including Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid. One scout estimates that as many as 30 have been to Drammen, south-west of Oslo, to see this slight, technically adept, supremely confident midfield player -- compared to Lionel Messi because of his age and his promise much less than his style and his role. (Source from ESPNFC)
He has trained with Manchester United, Bayern, Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart.
The plan for Ødegaard was a simple one. Despite all the interest from the great and the good of European football, he and his father had decided that the logical next step when he leaves Stromsgodset -- either in January or next summer -- would be to join a mid-range club in the Bundesliga, with the possibility of being loaned back to Norway for a season. He would still only be 16, after all. That is why he went to train not just with Bayern and Dortmund, but the altogether less lofty Stuttgart, too. (Source from ESPNFC)

Yes, he will. This kid has so much potential and all the big European clubs are looking at him and scouting him and so far, every scout thinks this kid could be as good as Messi or Ronaldo.

But, Adu blamed himself for not becoming the next Pele. He said that he should have trained harder. He was believing in the hype so much that led to him thinking that he will become Pele throughout the years with not much training. Ødegaard knows that even though scouts are saying that he could be the next Messi or Ronaldo, he is still going to train as hard as he can.

Ødegaard is 15 years old and already playing for a senior national team that isn't bad at all. I'm pretty sure this tells you that he's going to be good.

Another Norwegian soccer player that will be great is Ørjan Nyland. He is currently the best Norwegian GK and some top Europe clubs are scouting him and said positive things about him. Arsenal was actually looking into getting him.

What I like about Ødegaard is that he isn't rushing to join a major club yet. He knows he isn't ready to join a major club like Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc. He wants to train more and wait until he gets a bit older to join a major club.

it's what all players should do and it pisses me off when they don't, especially when players leave their clubs to go somewhere like chelsea or real madrid, where it's inevitable they won't get game time.
