I don't get why we have the holiday. Someone would have "discovered" the Americas, it was only a matter of time. Columbus isn't special at all, in fact he just murdered a bunch of people and we celebrate that |

Christopher Columbus was probably from 1450-1600's. (Can't remember) He discovered that the earth is round, and from his theory the world wouldn't be curios anymore... And thank you hater. |

Natives were the first to discover and reside in the Americas, Leif Ericson was second and Columbus(scrub) was third but he ended up hogging all the credit

Let's be honest Hernando Cortes and Francisco Pizarro killed way more than Columbus did Not to mention that the Aztecs also practiced human sacrifice which is also murder i don't see what makes Columbus stand out in an era where literally everyone practiced murder in some way shape or form |
